Hi,

I'm wondering if it is possible to lose some booty if we excersice glutes too much or use weights to do glutes? I'm doing P90X and lost weight and lost some booty. I really don't have any and now there are gone. lol

I LOVE my backside curves!!! I would like to tone it and make it a little more perky than it already is............any specific suggestions ladies? Would love to know the workouts you all are invested in :)
Squats and lunges are my best friend, would like some new moves, right about NOW ;)

I was never blessed with a round, perky booty. It's just wide which gives the appearance of it being big (at least from the front, not mad at that lol). Thanks for all the tips about squats and lunges. I plan starting on those immediately! Kim K better watch out.

I work out at home since I do not have time for the gym. My schedule is so crazy due to school and work. Both I do full time. So I see the most results with squats and lunges. Those two never let my buns down.

My trainer makes me do walking lunges while lifting a ten pound disk over my head, arms straight up. Works my body head to toe, it is bad*ss :D. I also find jogging outside lifts the butt quiet a bit.

To lift my butt I started doing Straight legged pulses, piles, step-ups, kickbacks and butt lifts. IMO, straight legged pulses and kickbacks are the same thing. After I do these excerises, my butt hurts so bad but in a good way because I know it's working.

When I am higer on the crossramp it works only the glutes, etc I think but the resistance is harder or thats how the machine is set up. Id say if you are looking to just firm up the booty then you'd want to do a gluteal interval if your machine has them. If you want a whole body fitness then I'd suggest doing both high and low exercises.

Honestly, I don't know its called a crossramp on my machine andI don't know what is being worked when I am high as opposed to when I'm low.I'll have to look and see usually I don't pay attention, because i do intervals and it changes.

I had a question about the image that lights up. is it a better work out if all of the lights are on (like from the calves up to the glutes) or just to focus on the glutes only? idk i've done both but it just feels like i get more from being lower than higer? but maybe im wrong i was just curious.

My elliptical machine has a little image of the lower body muscles and then lights that light up to show which muscle groups are being worked and has different programs you can do just to work the gluteual muscles. I don't know if a treadmill does this or not because i personlly prefer to spend the same amount of time and burn more calories on the elliptical versus the treadmill.I also do 4 sets of 25 reps of squats on a leg press machine using 50 lbs of weight everyday. And I feel it in my glutes, quads, hamstrings, and calves when I am done.

I've been hearing about this fish oil concoction some women supposedly use on their backside to plump it up. I'm not really sold on this or the dime curves pills and stuff but I'm curious...Has anyone heard of this and/or tried it? if so, what were your results?

Thanks for the tips guys. I still have that sexy curve from my back to my butt. But my butt needs a lift bigg time. LOL I do squats better when I have weights in my hands I seem to have better form. I really want to work my way up to jump squats have anyone tried those they are killer. I am going to start doing those at least one set of 15 per day and work my way up. Have a great day. I really cant wait to renew my membership at my church gym because I really love the elliptical machine. I despise the treadmill I would rather run outside on a track.

SQUATS AND LUNGES-YES! TREADMILL AT AN INCLINE-YES! I HAVE A VIDEO THAT I HAVE BEEN DOING SINCE COLLEGE(BACK IN THE DAY) THIN THIGHS AND GREAT BUNS. MY SIS ORDERED IT OFF AMAZON RECENTLY BECAUSE I TOLD HER THATS WHY MY BUTT IS LOOKING SO GOOD. I HAVE SERIOUSLY HAD THIS THING FOR LIKE 8 YEARS AND YES ITS THAT GOOD THAT I WOULD STILL RECOMMEND IT. I TOOK ABOUT A 3 YEAR BREAK FROM IT, BUT AM FINALLY BACK DOING IT AND MY BUTT IS KILLER!

Hi! I definitely agree with the other ladies...squats and lunges are very effective. Also, you can try using barbells to intensify your workout.

Is walking on the treadmill at an incline better than an elliptical for rounding out the buttocks?

I used to have that Buffie body. But once I put on more weight in back,side fat, belly fat, thighs my booty has flattened across the top. The bottom still has a lil curve.
I want to know what is best for getting that curve back that I used to have. I have been doing some squats recently.
