I did tell my dr,he is the one who wanted IV steroids for me.....so not going to happen. This pain will eventually pass....may take months but worth it to not have IV treatments ---yes I am that chicken of IV treatment :-)
Dear Doctor, My right leg keeps getting electrical impulses that run from the knee to the ankle and makes it weak I have trouble using the treadmill because it gets so weak it gives out and this is scary to me.. I hate IV drugs so I will not take steroids. Just wanted to make you aware of the new symptom. Thanks for listening to me doc..............

My right side went completely numb so I thought it was a stroke as I do have heart, cholesterol, and blood pressure probs. Well still today my right leg is tingly from knee dwn. I had another episode where my whole body was numb and paralyzed I was hospitalized for this one. I was given a couple shots of steroid and feeling and movement came back it was so weird. I have alot of days where I'm foggy headed and tingly in spots some times many spots. Right now my right hand is numb, both legs from knee dwn and my lips are tingly. Theresa
I think I would ask him what the heck is so "vague" about you said...You said I'm so weak I cannot get out of bed....I have severe dizziness and severe nausea....What is his problem....oh what....let me guess....Could it be he's a man?

My doc told me yesterday I was being too vague--what is vague about being so dizzy i couldd not lift my head off the pillow, was so nauseous even dry heaves would have felt good and was so weak I could not move!
Dear Doctor, I have been experiencing fatigue lately.
Dear Team, I am tired all of the time. It doesn't matter how much sleep that I get. I feel foggy, like nothing is clear. I feel like all of the colors in life have faded to a more duller version. I am not alert and I miss the feeling clarity.
Dear Neurologist: I've been experiencing leg pain, but it has gotten better.
Dear Team: It feels like there are a million tiny knobs throughout my leg and they are all being twisted in different directions, constantly. It only lasted one night, thankfully, and since the morning after, the leg has been very tired. I've tripped over it once, but each day it seems to be getting better.
Do you have a hard time describing the symptoms you are experiencing with MS? Use this area to describe what you're feeling in whatever way makes most sense to you! No need to be technical here; just let it out!
I'll never forget my first consult with my neurologist in December, 2011. I was trying to explain what I later found out were vertigo-like symptoms. In the beginning, I didn't know what vertigo was. The best description that I could give my neurologist was that "it feels and sometimes looks like I'm on a cruise ship." For somebody who has been on five cruises, that is what made the most sense to me. Of course, what I meant was that it felt like the room was swaying and I could see the room sway along with the feeling.
My neurologist seems to be more receptive when I say, "I have been experiencing vertigo-like symptoms, again." He knows, for the most part, what I mean. Here, in this forum, you can describe your symptoms in whatever way makes most sense to you.
