You can do it Luann! Are you sucking up tons of water? Whenever I make an extra effort to do that, I feel better and see more results.
With only a few days left this month, I'll make my August challenge very simple: to re-establish my positive attitude about all this. I've been in a little bit of a downer, losing motivation, so I want to remind myself that I *want* to do this, that I *can* do this, and that I *will* do this.
Hmm, and maybe I'll start thinking in advance about a September challenge for myself...
Giving up on a goal because of a setback is like slashing all your tires just because you got a flat.

I'm trying to get to 180 by Sept. 1....I'm almost there! COOLTOWNSAM--we both can reach our "end of the month goals", we're soooo close! Then we start on the next 10 lb. goal. It's exciting, isn't it?!?!
That sounds great GrumpyGrams and a good goal to aim for too. I bet you will love it. I like going to the gym but we live 40 miles away so decided I would pass for right now! Good Luck on getting to 180. I know you can do it!

I really, really want to see 180 before Aug 31st! Today I achieved a personal challenge. I've always wanted to join a gym, but have been too intimidated to darken their doors. Today, I joined a fitness center that is being built close to my house. It should be done around December, so that gives me time to lose more weight, so maybe I won't feel so "out of place"!
