I also reached my end of August goal. I wanted to be down to 180 by Sept 1st. I logged the good news on Aug. 31st. Anna--I also made it by the skin of my teeth!!!

Well I made my challenge, by the skin of my teeth but am 159.0 starting Sept 1st.

How did you all do on your August Challenge?

You can do it Luann! Are you sucking up tons of water? Whenever I make an extra effort to do that, I feel better and see more results.

With only a few days left this month, I'll make my August challenge very simple: to re-establish my positive attitude about all this. I've been in a little bit of a downer, losing motivation, so I want to remind myself that I *want* to do this, that I *can* do this, and that I *will* do this.

Hmm, and maybe I'll start thinking in advance about a September challenge for myself...

Let go, or get dragged.

I am trying to reach 150's and am stuck 1 lb away for no apparent reason (well time-of-the month too - sorry TMI!) only 1 measly pound to go and the scales won't move again!!

I'm trying to get to 180 by Sept. 1....I'm almost there! COOLTOWNSAM--we both can reach our "end of the month goals", we're soooo close! Then we start on the next 10 lb. goal. It's exciting, isn't it?!?!

That sounds great GrumpyGrams and a good goal to aim for too. I bet you will love it. I like going to the gym but we live 40 miles away so decided I would pass for right now! Good Luck on getting to 180. I know you can do it!

I really, really want to see 180 before Aug 31st!
Today I achieved a personal challenge. I've always wanted to join a gym, but have been too intimidated to darken their doors. Today, I joined a fitness center that is being built close to my house. It should be done around December, so that gives me time to lose more weight, so maybe I won't feel so "out of place"!
