This week I challenge myself to be POSITIVE with myself and not get frustrated or use negative berating over my less-than-perfect food choices over the holiday weekend. What's done is done, and now it's time to be ON TRACK and positive about it!

My monster is the little evil voice inside of me that whispers negative things, such as that my weight is too 'high' (even though I know it's not!) or that my thighs are 'fat' because now they're actually touching in the middle a bit... Every day I'm quieting this voice down and trying my best to turn those doubtful things around and make something positive out of it! (Healthy weight, no longer 'emaciated', firm & muscular shaped legs instead of tons of lost muscle tissue and weak legs! etc.)

Garfield likes to eat things like pizza or candy bars late at night. I fight Garfield by planning a snack & a cup of 90 calorie chocolate soy milk every night, I usually win my battles with Garfield because I am determined to stay in my calorie range & I don't want to let Garfield mess it up. Shaggy likes to sleep in late and blow off getting places on time. Shaggy is a harder one to fight for me but I am slowly winning my battle with him, I make myself get out of bed whether I want to or not and I set all my clocks ahead so I think it is later than it actual is. I also have my cloths picked out, my lunch packed and everything ready to go so I can get out the door faster. I have other monsters too but these 3 are my worst foes.
Personal Challenge: Still haven't got to the ink refill store so I am going to do it Monday so I can finish my 'New Me' Statement & Vision book!!!!
I am grateful to have a healthy working body. I am grateful for my family and for everything they do. I am grateful that I can have my kids in preschool now so I am able to have a little bit of free time again.

I am grateful for my best friend, she keeps me grounded when I need it and lifts me up when I need it. I am grateful for opportunities I have had/continue to have in my life. I am grateful for my ability to appreciate all victories, no matter how tiny!
Challenge for the week: Stop being so hard on myself! My perfectionism has kicked into high gear, and it makes it too easy to get discouraged.

Ok, 3 things I like about myself: My brain! That I'm learning to take care of myself so that I'm better able to care for others. My organizational skills.
Personal challenge this week: Make healthy choices while trying to finish up some housework before starting classes again on Thursday.

I challenge myself to dance for 30 minutes three days this week.

Team Challenge: Write 3 statements like: I am Becoming a Thinner & Healthier Person Every Day!!! I Love Going for Walks & Working Out Every Day!!! I Have a Clean & Neat Home, Everything has a Place & is in It's Place!!! The statements should be written like you are accomplishing it or already have, not like 'I want to be thinner' or 'I wish I ate healthier' but like 'I am Becoming Thinner' & 'I am Eating Healthier' Once you have completed your statements find pictures that reinforce your statement in your mind & put them under the statements. Read the statements & look at the pictures 2 or 3 times a day.
My Personal Challenge: To complete my New Me statement & picture document & print it!!!!
My Personal Challenge for this week is to do 5 work out DVDs this week.
My Challenge for the team this week is to learn 1 new fun fact or quote & share it via Spark Mail, Spark Goodie or Spark page comment with 5 of your team mates!!!!
This week I am challenging myself to WAKE UP by 5:15 at least three times this week to do my yoga practice or go for a jog before work! I have been struggling with this healthy habit more than ANY OTHER in my last four months of journey, so it is time to really make it part of my routine!

My personal challenge for this week is: to Work out 30 minutes a day, no excuses!!!!!

I've had a really rough time lately with my health-2 sprained ankles, then persistent vertigo-and had to take a LONG break from aerobic exercise... I got back on the bandwagon this morning and am excited to challenge myself to at least 10 min/5x week of exercise and 3x encouragement to our teammates! We all need encouragement and positivity

My own personal challenge for myself this week will be to work out at least 30 minutes a day or be physically active (like going for a walk) for at least 30 minutes a day. I work a desk job with a lot of stress & I am having a hard time staying motivated to exercise. I miss 1 day then 2 then before you know it I haven't worked out all week & then before I know it several weeks have gone by & I have not worked out. So I am challenging myself to change that!!!!

I'd like to take some walks during lunch while at work, weather permitting. The weather in Chicago has been brutal.
I'm going to take the yoga class next Sunday, and depending on the schedule this week, hopefully can take another one during the work week
