I have added this as a contest on another Team, but I think it would be a great motivator and what a great way to see the progress we're all making.
Start your own personal challenge today! Weigh yourself today (or when you log in next time). Then weigh yourself on the LAST day of the month and find the PERCENTAGE of weight loss this month. I realize that February is almost over -- but try it and start all over in March!
I checked into how they determine the percentage of weight lost (like they do on The Biggest Loser) and this is an example:
Divide the weight LOST thru February by the TODAY's weight and multiply the answer by 100.
Ex: Starting weight = 200. You lose 5 pounds.
5/200 = .025
.025*100 = 2.5%
We look at our scales and feel that so many times they barely budge, but seeing the percentage of your weight that you have lost can be a great boost to continue on and succeed!
So either respond to this post to keep track of your weight now and at the end of February, or do it on your own! Up to you -- whichever is the easiest for you to do.
You're all winners and you'll be surprised to see those percentages come the end of February! And, then get ready and do it again in March!
I think it'll be fun to see the results and see that we have made headway and we are whittling away those pounds day by day!
