Ok ladies, I did pretty good yesterday, I did drink all my water, not eating after 8 and I did exercise, but I didn't get to finish my yard work, but hey 3 out of 4 is not bad. Today I didn't set any goals for myself because our Sundays are kind of busy. Here are my goals for tomorrow:
drink all my water
exercise
no eating after 7
eat some fruit
get some cleaning done(I've got alot to do)

Today's goals:

1. Only eat when I'm hungry & stop when I'm full.
2. Clean the house.
3. Make salad for dinner guests tonight.
4. Ride the exercise bike (30-55 minutes/500 calories)
5. Work on my article (which is really starting to bum me out because it keeps dragging on!)

My BF is off work today so we have errands to run. Today I will:

1. Get cat food.
2. Pick up my books from the library.
3. Check my mailbox on campus.
4. Eat intuitively.

I probably won't exercise since I give myself Weds. & Thurs. to take a break.

Yesterday I think I did everything except I haven't yet tracked all my calories - I know I went over, but I should do it anyway...

1-walk at least 1hr-Done(3-4miles)-did 3more miles
2-drink lots of water-done
3-do 50 wall pushups-to tired
4-eat intuitively-done
5-get 25-35gr.of fiber-done
6-last snack by 9 pm-10:42(cucumber/lite dressing)

This is such a great thread since it's a place we can put our goals for the day in writing. Today I will:

1. Exercise (for a minimum of 30 minutes, but maybe more). . . . done!
2. Eat intuitively but track my calories
3. Work on my article (a lot harder than I did yesterday)

And that's it. I had too much going yesterday & so I didn't get as much done as I would have liked, though I got a lot done.

Also, the book is called Never Be Fat Again by Raymond Francis & Michelle King. Athena Jane told me about, but I haven't looked at it yet because getting to the library is one of the things I didn't get done yesterday. Oops!

Gayle, Sharon, D and AJ, sounds like yall are all doing wonderful. Keep up the great work. I will start a new challenge probably in the middle or end of August that way everyone can get settled and back to school. If you have any suggestions please let me know. I thought about a Day-2-Day challenge. Different things to do to keep it interesting. I am still looking at other possibilities though!

Exercise . . . done!
Pick up the book Athena Jane recommended from the library
Work on my article
Try to eat intuitively
Finish the dishes . . . done!
Finish the laundry

It is great, BTW that my BF did the dishes. Of course he left one sinkful for me to do today. He also started the laundry, but didn't finish it. My attitude, though, is to be glad he helps a little bit rather than not at all!

My weekend was good. That was great for your BF to wash the dishes for you. My DH hates to wash the dishes. I think he has washed them maybe 4 times in the almost 5 years we have been together. He will do anything else but dishes!LOL

I just finished doing some volunteer work & I am beat. I don't think I'm going to get anything else done today, but that's okay. I have a tendency to think I can do more than is realistically possible in a day. I'll exercise & work tomorrow.

I met all my goals yesterday except the calorie one. Oh well. Maybe that's why I never lose...

Anyway, today I'm doing some volunteer work, but I'm hoping to get my exercise in after that. And to work on my article.

Well I have done good on my eating so far today. I didnt get to go to Curves to workout but I got an extra workout at the museum. They have a walking trail and we walked it up and down hills. SO it was a great workout!!! HOT too!!! I havent cleaned very much but I am fixing to straighten up. Sounds like yall have been busy today!!

I ate a really good supper. I also ate 2 big cookies. I am stuffed so I should have stopped sooner but that is ok. I am just going to try not to eat for the rest of the night. I really dont think I have went over my cals or anything!

My next goal:
Go to Curves in the morning to work out.
Intuitive Eating with sips between bites.

I hate feeling sick, whether it's TOM, emotional or whatever. It's harder to not eat comfort foods then. But I think intuitive eating is great & maybe we should eat what feels right!

By the way, sipping between bites, or between every couple bites really does help fill me up. Good suggestion Twana. I've also discovered that I can have a nice, hearty dinner if I am careful about how I cook it - reduce the oils and butters, etc. It really helps to feel full. I also discovered that if I eat a vegetable and a fruit with lunch it helps make my sandwich (or whatever) much more satisfying and filling.

Way to go everyone!

Yep that is a job!

Ok today I am doing great so far, but I feel really terrible(TOM!) I ate a bowl of cereal today and the reason I ate it was for the iron. I think my iron was low. Felt really sick and freezing all day. Not normal for me!LOL
I am intuitional eating, I am trying to eat only when hungry. Right now I am very hugry but I am waiting for supper. I will try to sip between bites and eat slower. I did my exercise.

Accomplished Thursday: Stayed within calories. Didn't exercise unless helping my BF tear up carpet & running errands count, though somehow I doubt it.

Goals for Friday: Stay within my calorie range (below 1550), ride the exercise bike for 500 calories.
Try to take half milk & half low-fat cream in my coffee rather than all low-fat cream.
Work on revising an article that I need to resubmit soon.

Ok I got my laundry almost done.
I tried to sip between bites, still ate too much.

Exercise (even though Thursday isn't a scheduled exercise day)
Stay within my calorie range.

I think that's all I can manage since it's always a bit more challenging when the BF is home from work.

Yeah you are there Food! I hate mosquitoes. I know that is a strong word but they carry diseaese and things. We have to keep OFF in our truck at all times around here. Especially when we go to deer camp or 4 wheeler riding.

I need to plug in the bug zapper in the basement. I am getting bit up. I think it is from down there, not outside, I wear pants outside...at dark, because I do not want to be bit, then I forget when I go to the basement...thinking I will only be there for one minute. There is a window open and a light on...hello...what else do the mosquitos need, drinks and food, "oh that is what I am"...

Just for TODAY(July 24):
Sip between Bites
Exercise
Eat less and try not to obsess over food today!!!

Ok I know I am keeping it simple,LOL, but it is just for TODAY!
