Darrah and Greg - that's SUPER! You'll notice I changed up the team goals to include the water, exercise and tracking. Just keep track on the team goals, and do it DAILY! Awesome job, Greg, on recording already!
I know many of us have migrated away from SparkPeople, or have gone on to other teams to be either leaders or participants, but in an effort to resurrect the team, I have decided we need a new challenge. Not really new goals - as all my goals are pretty much the same - but a new commitment to ourselves. #1 - Do we WANT to live healthier? Yes. #2 - Do we WANT to be stonger? Yes. #3 - Do we WANT to be leaner? Yes. So why do we procrastinate the fact that we MUST begin by the three basics: #1 - Drink at least 64 ounce water (that's 8-8 ounce cups) #2 - Eat in moderation. NO ONE said to "cut out" candy. You CAN have candy/break/cake, but have it IN MODERATION. Yes, it's easy to grab that bag and eat it all in one sitting, but it's also just as easy to take out x number of pieces and put it in a napkin/bowl/plate and limit yourself to that. #3 - Exercise. I KNOW! I KNOW! It's just AWFUL, isn't it?!?! WE MUST MOVE. Our bodies were built to move, not to vegetate. So what's the big deal about walking for just 20 minutes three times a week? I mean a BRISK walk, not a lolly-gagging stroll.
So what say you? Are you up for a VERY MODEST challenge? I know we can ALL accomplish these goals, IF WE TRULY WANT TO.
