In a fit of insanity, I signed up for the Inaugural Disneyland 10K in August. Can't really run right now, but I've been cross training for a while. I still have time before I start C210K and am focusing on form and running a mile right now.

Any advice on what I need to do in the next two/three months?

I stopped the program for a few weeks because I was trying to be with a beginner running group. I've realized that their plan isn't mine. Back to C25K week 3 day 2 on Tuesday

I am using that app (or at least one that sounds very similar) I completed Week 1, Run 1 yesterday.

My (almost) 10 year old son is doing it as well. He has been doing 1 mile fun runs for about 2 years now and is getting bored with them, so he's going to do the program at least until it gets to the 5K distance for him. He might repeat a week or two depending on what he needs, though.

I have an app on my phone called 10K Runner. It is built for beginner runners who haven't been running (can walk slowly for 30 minutes) to being able to run a 10K in 14 weeks. I've tried it before with success but fell of the Spark train in July and am getting back on track.

I was wondering if anyone else is doing this program. It would be nice to have the support and accountability of others.

Today I completed W1D2 at a 14 min/mi pace
