Sorry I'm late with my weigh-in. As of Wednesday, 2/11, I maintained my weight at 246. That's 7 pounds since I began SP. I am really pleased with my progress. Thanks to all of you for your continued support.
Sorry I'm late. Been offline the past few days. This week's weight 159.9 - way over where I started. Think it's time to get my thyroid tested again....

Congratulations to those of you that lost weight! Those lost pounds are very impressive! For those of you that stayed the same (like me) let's keep on trying, it will happen and for those that gained, don't get discouraged even one of the teams on "The Biggest Loser" gained this week. Stay true to your plan and the weight will come off.
Woohoo!! 193, down 3 pounds from last week! Congrats to everyone for all of your hard work and effort...we're all making positive changes in our lives, even in the weeks that the scale doesn't move.

205 . . . And I met a goal, I am now below my pre-pregnancy weight with my daughter. She's not yet 5 months, it is just falling off this time around, maybe because i had a lot to lose or because we're kicking it in the gym, but still!!!

144.0--only 1/2 lb.--darn but, a loss is a loss!!
I guess better down than up, but I think I would rather see a 1 lb. gain so I could lose it again. I hate building muscle--it weighs so much!! You struggle to lose and then some darn muscle sneaks in and takes the place of a "little fat" and lo' and behold--here comes some other kind of fat.
Now, we all know that building the muscle IS IMPORTANT for the fat burning method in our bodies!! So, to be very serious for a moment---I AM HAPPY that there was just a little loss and I KNOW that there will be a gain next week. My body has been losing since the beginning of the year, and I KNOW my body--it is slowing down like this on the outside to do some work on the inside--good=bye fat--hello=muscle!!! YA!!! That really is an exciting "body event" and we all need to "grasp onto it" for that exciting ride to the end!! We probably all will know that we are building some muscle for the way we feel after the exercising we do. I know I have increased this week and a little the week before, so it was bound to come. Some more working out for the next week and there will be a gain and I am prepared for it---so BRING IT ON!!!
Anyone want to join me for this ride??? It is called the "MUSCLE TRAIN" as it takes some 'TRAINING'!!
Peace and blessings, JQ

hope you all had a good week
here's my latest from jillian michael's e-mails on Emotional Eating:
TUESDAY: FEELING GOOD
Emotional Eating: The Final Question
We've been examining emotional eating for almost a month now. At this point you should be seeing some behavioral shifts — you're checking to see if you're truly hungry before eating, and you're finding nonfood outlets to express your emotions. You're making serious progress, and I'm proud of you!
There's one final aspect of emotional eating you need to address — what to do when you can't resolve an issue or a situation at the exact moment when it is triggering you to behave self-destructively.
Certain obstacles can sometimes seem insurmountable, and the next time you encounter one, I want you to ask yourself the following question:
How can I turn this problem into an opportunity? Instead of allowing this event or emotion to cause permanent damage to your self-esteem, try looking at it in a different light. If you've recently gone through a breakup, for example, realize that the end of one relationship simply means that you are free to find someone better for you. Allow yourself to feel sad, but try to stay positive and find meaning in the pain rather than numbing it with food and indulging in other destructive habits. You will grow from it in amazing ways, I promise.
