Ruby I think this will be not only a good thread but maybe should be our daily goal. To post one good thing for the day that we did. Not just the food and exercise goals. but perhaps something good we did for ourselves. While I have nothing to report for today yet. Still early. I can report yesterday the one good thing I did, was I stopped and talked with one of my dearest friend and her husband. His brother commited suicide last weekend and they are traveling a three hour drive into snow to go to the funeral today. My heart goes out to them as well as my prayers they have a safe journey.
what if you woke up today with only the things you thanked God for yesterday.
I did excellent on my snack. I was at Wal-Mart & they have those BBQ chicken pieces. Normally, I'll get a big bowl of them &, yes, I'll only eat so much of them, but today, I got the small-sized bowl. So for me, that was a victory.
I'm too blessed to be stressed & too anointed to be disappointed (no matter what life throws at me!) -

Its definitely ONE DAY AT A TIME ... yesterday was pretty hard for me 'cuz I was actually craving for egg rolls but I prayed that God would take away that desire to eat. And He answered my prayers ... I had 3 bbq wings and broccali when I got home. Walked around at the mall (not my usual 1.5 miles but a little bit is better than none) and did some lunges with my 5 pound weights. Today is a new day and I'm ready!!! Its so gorgeous out (NASHVILLE) that I may take 1/2 day and just walk around the park with my husband (he's off on Fridays).

Glad to hear that all is well with everyone. What are plans for everyones week-end? I have heard from others that week-ends seem to be hard because most are off their routine. We are taking our kids to Shriners Circus and MidWay (rides)in Atl tomorrow. Yes, I vow to stay away from the cotton candy, apples, etc.... Blessings and Prosperity to all!

Here it is going on about three days with a personal trainer involved with my workouts (once a week) now. I find myself not wanting to let him or my workout partner down. I am eating a lot healthier and more consistent too:) Small steps in the right direction. And I found out that I like blueberries:)

Today I didn't binge (I've been eating unhealthily for the last 2 days due to stress). I'm very proud! I manage to eat better when my family is home (like today). They are going away tomorrow to visit my grandparents and I will be home alone working on school assignments... I hope I have another binge-free day...
