With balance and moderation, you can enjoy the holidays the healthy way. Choose fresh fruit as a festive and sweet substitute for candy. Select just one or two of your favorites from the host of tempting foods. Find fun ways to stay active, such as dancing to your favorite holiday music.
List your "substitutes" for the Holiday temptations, post your "WINS" over holiday temptations and post your daily "moves" i.e. exercise during the holiday countdown.
1.) I will substitute fruit for other sweets.
2.) I will eat healthy before attending a holiday party to take the edge off trying the temptations that are offered.
3.) Every time I hear a "Holiday Tune" I will move a little faster and "Dance" my way to health!!!
