hey ketosis is ketosis, and it sounds like you are there so I wouldn't worry.
I dug out some old sticks that I had from the last time I was on Atkins, actually the expiry date says 2005 and when I used them, they turned purple so I am claiming it. Cant find the sticks here so will just use what I have.

Ketostix (urine test strips) work some of the time. Accurate measurement will only come from a blood ketone meter. Unfortunately the test strips from those are very expensive. I would just stay under 20-50 grams of carbs/day for about a week. If you are not hungry very much and have plenty of energy after 1 week you are probably in ketosis. Birgit
One thing that affects the concentration is your hydration. If you're really well-hydrated they'll show as light. The ONLY time mine were ever purple was when I hadn't had anything to drink for many hours.

Yes, I like to use them to see if I'm in Ketosis. However, it seems that you can be in ketosis and the sticks don't really show it. When I was on Induction, my sticks weren't showing hardly anything, yet...I was losing weight and still am. Not sure exactly why the sticks are showing that I'm in ketosis.
