I started Atkins after I had some cereal for breakfast - so I started with lunch about 5 days ago.
So I started with lunch - I didn't wait until the next day, and I actually lost a pound the next morning. I haven't lost any more yet, but the scale keeps dropping 2 more pounds and then jumping right back up. My metabolism is so weird! I think it is either over-protective or I have insulin resistance. But I will just keep at it.

If you're the kind of person who feels better starting a project on a new day or a new week or a new month then just spend the rest of today planning for tomorrow and forward. Otherwise, get a jump on the rest of your life and vow to eat clean, whole food from here on!
