Am HAPPY to say Maintenance Road is EASIER for me{ I was afraid the wt. would come back on after I lost it} than losing the wt. and doing exercise in some form has become a daily habit. Been maintaining for 2 mos. and feel great with allthe knowledge I have learned and am using to stay on this road and keep the wt.off!

I started a few weeks ago at 222 and am now, as of today, at 214... Trying to get down to around 170 - maybe a little lower... Basically trying to flatten out my belly, tone up in general, and just get in much better shape and a lot healthier overall...

I've had a great start to 2010! In the last few months I hit my half marathon goal time, met my weight loss goal, and bought a size 8 bridesmaid dress! I'm so excited for the progress I have made, and I am already setting new goals for 2010 - faster running, a few more pounds to tone up the legs, and keeping the confidence and the spirit high.

New to the Tall Ladies group. I started SP back in Nov to lose enough weight to get back into some clothes that had gotten a little tight! Now I'm back at my 'usual' weight, but the healthy eating changes & exercise have gone so well that I've decided I really want to keep it going this year and try to achieve the fittest body of my life.

I had a really great moment of pleasure, one month after starting cardio training, when I could dance my way though Zumba really enthusiastically and be tired in a good way. I also did my first full push up today - awesome!

I hope that this year I can gain enough core strength and flexibility to achieve some more advanced yoga poses. I would love to be able to do a back walkover for instance! Oh, and yeah, a great bikini body.

Well, I was doing really well for most of last year - finally got into a size 8 which was AMAZING to me!
For whatever reasons (I'm sure I can come up with about 100 excuses!), I totally fell off the wagon in October. So for the last quarter of 2009, I quit working out, stopped paying attention to what I was putting in my body, etc... and gained about 8 lbs...ugh....

Beginning now, I have re-committed myself to a healthy lifestyle. I started my daily work-outs again (30-Day Shred DVD at 5 AM), picked up good stuff to eat from the grocery store (instead of buying lunch every day at work), etc...

I think I want to lose about 30 lbs total and I definitely need to tone up.

2009 sucked but I am claiming that 2010 is gonna be fabulous!

I'm still here. I'm maintaining. I got through the holidays without gaining weight, so I'm happy about that!

For 2010 I'm hoping to add some weight training to my exercise plan so I can rebuild some core strength. Last year I mainly did a lot of walking and some biking.

Happy New Year to all,
Debby

I'm still here too. The holidays were rough - not only was yummy fattening food Everywhere, but tomorrow will be my 1 year anniversary of "getting healthy." Unfortunately, the holidays hit just when I was sick of being healthy. I gained 10 pounds, but I'm back on track as of Jan. 1st. I already feel better & have more energy. I'm psyched to live healthily for another year.

My goals are to lose another 12 pounds and 3-5% body fat. I also plan to run at least 2 half-marathons in the next few months and then a full marathon by the end of the year. And then start triathlon training for 2011.

I restarted my ticker since it's a fresh year and I really want to forget about the weight I lost last year. It's gone and I don't need reminders of it.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I'm here. I weighed this morning, and I'm right where I was when I weighed December 1, so I count myself fortunate. :) I have 13-15 pounds more to lose. No set time frame to do that, but *shrugs* I don't want to be at the top of the 'normal' BMI range...I want some wiggle room. :)

You can do it, and you DESERVE it!

Happy New Year to you Jen!

This year I'm going to keep on keeping on! I have another 20 pounds to go before I am no longer overweight and roughly another 20 pounds on top of that to get to my "goal" weight. That might change as I get closer to it - but it's a number that I'm shooting towards. I've lost 93 pounds this past year! Sparkpeople ROCKS! And I'm looking forward to this year being the year that I shine!

Woo Hoo! I hope this decade is the best one yet!

I just hit a major goal. I reached Onederland on Dec 31. Now I have less than 15lbs to go to reach my goal weight. I am excited to reach it by Valentines day.

To lose as much body fat as I can by my wedding anniversary - October. So far so good. I haven't been off the wagon since I started and I can't see falling off any time soon.

With the start of a new year - I thought I'd see where everyone was..... are you just getting started? hitting a goal? trying to get re-started? working on maintaining?

What are your goals or objectives for 2010?

I hope 2010 is the best year yet!
