Well, I have to start with yesterday...I did the Biggest Loser Cardio Max for the first time...and I hadn't done anything physical in weeks so I was good and stiff and sore this morning. Then I walked/jogged 3 miles today...hurt so good!

Everything we do in life is a choice...I choose to get fit & healthy.

Today I ran a mile in 10:30! I am really trying hard to get under 10 minutes, but Lord knows I am not a runner. I also lost 3 pounds this week!!

... went out in search of Halloween costume materials. First I went to the costume store and didn't find anything I was looking for. Then I went to the mall and wandered around to every store I could think of that would be carrying costumey things, but found nothing. Then I went to the shopping plaza where JoAnn's is, figuring I would just make my own darn poofy black tutu and gold tank top. I parked in front of JoAnn's, and walked the whoooooole way to the other end of the plaza checking out all the other stores that may have had costume things. They didn't. So then I walked back to JoAnn's and bought my supplies.

THEN I went to another costume store I'd forgotten about, where I found a good pair of glasses, then I hit up WalMart and Target to see if there was any other amazing Halloween stuff I could use.

Lots of walking today. LOTS of walking. And I was wearing my "toning shoes." Too bad I wasn't also wearing my pedometer... emoticon

received the Zumba dvds I ordered to get my groove going again. I did the learn the moves section and then walked for 40 minutes.

Rest days are really important. Take it from an old physical therapist! Your body needs them when you are building muscle. It will really help prevent injury as well.

Today I'm feeling a bit sore & I believe I am going to rest a bit, maybe do a quick light workout. My boyfriend & I walked 3.5 miles yesterday & this morning I can really feel it! lol.
