It looks like e-cigarettes are as bad as normal ones for others around the smoker... it's not the same chemicals that are being passed out in the 'smoke' but there are some similar bi-products and chemical compounds as a regular cigarette.
To lose weight alone is an uphill battle, to lose weight with friends and having fun is walking downhill. Let's go downhill together!
I don't see why it wouldn't do some kind of overall harm. If that kind of mess is going into the body of the person smoking and then it gets into the air, why wouldn't have an effect on others? I don't know what exact effects it would have because they don't have the studies done for now, but they should.

Is anyone on our team concerned about the effects of electronic cigarettes on our breathing? I always have problems around regular smokers and try to stay away from them, but my stepdaughter --who is trying to quit smoking - has begun smoking her electronic cigarettes in the house. I have had recent flareups of COPD and bronchitis, so I am wondering if the second hand vapor I get from these cigarettes may be harmful to me.
