A little bit of research and I come up with these:

It looks like e-cigarettes are as bad as normal ones for others around the smoker... it's not the same chemicals that are being passed out in the 'smoke' but there are some similar bi-products and chemical compounds as a regular cigarette.

To lose weight alone is an uphill battle, to lose weight with friends and having fun is walking downhill. Let's go downhill together!

Yeah, most of the time the side effects are worse than what the medications is supposed to help.

Sometimes I do too, but I plan to start being more watchful. All of them have some side effects and they're usually sound so bad that you hesitate to take them.

Well, I look at that like what the drug companies do by pumping out meds without knowing the full effects until it is too late.

Hi, Tweetycoo,
I agree that there are probably some health risks for non smokers and they should do some tests. I will be watching for their results.

Blessings,

I don't see why it wouldn't do some kind of overall harm. If that kind of mess is going into the body of the person smoking and then it gets into the air, why wouldn't have an effect on others? I don't know what exact effects it would have because they don't have the studies done for now, but they should.

Is anyone on our team concerned about the effects of electronic cigarettes on our breathing?
I always have problems around regular smokers and try to stay away from them, but my stepdaughter --who is trying to quit smoking - has begun smoking her electronic cigarettes in the house. I have had recent flareups of COPD and bronchitis, so I am wondering if the second hand vapor I get from these cigarettes may be harmful to me.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
