Whether you can lose 10 pounds in 4 weeks depends on how close you are to goal, how aggressive your diet and exercise programs are, and perhaps your gender. Men lose more easily than women, which accounts for the feminine majority on SP.

FWIW, I lost 9 pounds in my first 6 weeks on SP. I'm content with that, but I won't be shocked if the next 9 pounds don't come off as fast.
Welcome back! emoticon

Alright I'm back, tried to do it without tracking and I gained 10 Lbs this summer! Very discouraging. At 50 can I lose that in 4 weeks?

Good for you. I think we all want quick results but doing it gradually and in a healthy way will produce long time results. I think keeping within the calorie range is a challenge for almost everyone but you will find it gets easier

It always motivates me more when I hear someone else goes through some of the same challenges I do. Remember even your baby steps can be an encouragement to others emoticon emoticon

Well, I'm still taking little steps. Have only been on Sparks for a week so far and am having trouble keeping the daily calorie intake down. But am so motivated by what I am seeing on this site. Especially the success stories and video clips! They are great!

So it's little steps for me as I gradually adjust to my new lifestyle of eating and exercising. I hope I can be of encouragement to someone out there someday. Not that I have a LOT of weight to loose. But Its taken me 10 years of struggle to get to this point. Now I am determined to loose 10kilos and get really fit.

Thank you Sparkies
