Okay, It looks like I managed to do 24 Woo Hoo!

I wasn't able to get that sixth helping of fruit or veg in 3 days in a row.
I meant to make a gluten-free recipe but absolutely forgot this one!
I, er, gained three pounds, so didn't manage the lose five
I can crunch all day, but couldn't manage the 20 sit ups
I only really did one day of errands after the park farthest challenge was posted & just parked in the middle somewhere.
Get eight hours of sleep? That's not a challenge, that's a miracle!

I really enjoyed this month challenge! Thanks so much, Deb! emoticon

Challenge for November 30th:

Ooops, thought I recorded more! For the 22nd :

I am thankfull to have had some time to get to know my brother again
I am thankful to have a home I love and my wonderful family.

For the 23rd, I relaxed by going out to lunch (it was my birthday emoticon ) and put up my Tree! I know some people find decorating a tree stressful, but I love it!

November 22 - I am thankful for all the people in my life, and I am very thankful for my good health. There are so many things to be thankful for!

November 23 - 20 minutes of relaxation: I edited photos with PhotoShop, a lot longer than 20 minutes!

November 24 - I always park as far away from the door as I can. It helps add steps on for my goal of 10,000 steps/day.

Okay, challenge for the 9th met. I put a LOT of onions and garlic in my Chicken Korma I made today!

I also had grits and Basmati Rice, both of which are neutral-colored, so I'm hoping they count as well. I vacillated between grits and oatmeal, but it was a grits kind of morning emoticon

One of my favorite shows to watch is Dr. Oz and I got today's challenge idea while watching Thursdays show.

Challenge for November 9th:


Eat at least 2 Neutral-colored Foods today. His list includes mushrooms, garlic, onions, shallots and chives, BUT you can eat any neutral color food. Post what two foods you ate, then if you list other items besides what is on this list I will use them the next time I repeat this challenge.

I tracked my food the 4th, 5th and 6th.

For the 6th, I read the Nutrition Article : Light Baking Done Right. And I learned I could substitute SILKEN TOFU for an egg emoticon

Okay, still working on the 2nd. I can get two days with 6 helpings of fruit & veg, and then something interrupts the third day. I WILL do this before the end of the month! But I DO appreciate this challenge, because more than once I was going to grab something less healthy, less natural & I thought, NO! get that fruit in NOW!

on the 3rd : 30 minutes of cardio was playing soccer with my dogs. emoticon

Challenge of November 3 (30 minutes of cardio)

I actually walked about 4 miles, but I was out canvassing for a candidate in this upcoming election, so I stopped and started a lot, ringing doorbells and leaving literature. Walking between houses I probably got 30-60 minutes of cardio since I was out for about three hours. The houses were spaced far apart, and I was asked to only go to a few houses on every block. I walked pretty fast between them.

Since I have decided to go gluten free slowly, I would like to continure with getting rid of the gluten foods that I still have in the house and switching to non-gluten containing foods as well as learning to prepare recipes that are gluten-free.
