I'm in! (But now I'm craving Grits & I'm out & this week is payday so I have to wait!!!!)
So far :

As usual doing things backwards.

Challenges:

1. Do a 20 min walk

4. Try/Eat grits

5. Track your sodium (and stay within limit) for 3 straight days.

8. Try/Eat Asparagus

9. Try/Eat Braunshweiger (type of liverwurst…normally smoked).

10. Do thirty minutes of cardio while incorporating weights

11. Go welcome 5 people to Sparkpeople on the “Introduction” message board

15. Post on here 1 challenge you would like to see us use as a monthly challenge.

16. Post on here 1 question you would like to see for our question of the week.

17. Try/Eat Beets

18. Try/Eat Spinach

19. Try/Eat Eggplant.

20. Try/Eat Broccoli

21. Try/Eat Kiwi

22. Bike 1 mile (either exercise bike or real bike)…if you already bike, add .5 mile to a normal workout.

23. Walk, run, or jog 2 miles…if you already do this, add .5 mile to a normal workout.

25. Try one Sparkpeople video you haven’t done before.

26. Eat at least 3 all-star foods in one day: broccoli, cantaloupe, carrot, kale, mango, pumpkin, red pepper, spinach, strawberries, sweet potato.

27. Eat at least 3 honorable mention foods in one day: green pepper, other berries, brussels sprouts, tomatoes, cauliflower, other leafy greens, all citrus fruits, potatoes, asparagus, peas, winter squash, beets.

29. Go to “Nutrition” Articles…click “see all”…under the section for “eating away from home”, pick one of the “Dining Out” articles for your favorite type of food. Read it and come post (on this thread) one thing you learned/know you can eat when you go out.

46. Do some type of exercise during each advertisement of one 60 minute TV show.

47. On all of your errands today, park in the farthest spot from the door at every stop. (You have to do this challenge on a day you are actually running errands, ha-ha)

48. Give everyone in your household a hug and tell them you love them 3 days straight.

Our challenge this month is easy, but is going to be a lot of fun. I am going to list some “survivor” challenges. You can do as many or as few as you want each day. They do NOT have to be done in order…feel free to pick and choose the ones you want to do. You get one point for each challenge completed; there are a total of 50 challenges. Come and post what challenge you completed and your running total for the month. You can only complete each challenge once during the month. So if you complete each challenge this month you will have a total of 50 points.
