I have a Pilates Premier XP as well. I love it to pieces and consider it my baby. I was fortunate because I found one in excellent condition on craigslist for 50 dollars. I usually do a cardio workout first and follow up with time on the reformer. I love mine - just wish it camd with a tramp - but if I use it enough I might justify buying another in ths future.
Definitely one purchase I don't regret.

I have a Stamina Pilates XP Premier reformer. I bought it in 2006 when I was first diagnosed with breast cancer. I found it easier to exercise on the mat and reformer than standing. I love it, but don't do it enough because I also love to do a variety of workouts. I just bought a stand to lift my reformer off of the floor and it is amazing how much of a difference is felt when exercising. I use dvd workouts by Stamina and from the Balanced Body store from www.pilates.com
I choose love, joy and freedom, open my heart and allow wonderful things to flow into my life.
If anyone has a bowflex, it can be used like a reformer for many things (like the 100). I love finding multi-uses for equipment I already own.
Whether you think you can, or you think you can't...You're right!
Inside me lives a skinny woman...but I can usually shut the b*tch up with cookies! :o)
