Now is the time to start a very inexpensive and great gift/gifts. I find all size/shapes & labels of tin cans. Clean them up--if they have unusual or colorful labels I leave them on. If not I peel them off--some times poke holes around the edge--sometimes not. Plant kitchen herbs in them They'll have time to grow before it's time to hand out Christmas gifts. When it's time I bundle them, wrap in twine--whatever makes them look nice. Some times I set them in an old beat up pan, tray, box etc--with grave in the bottom. Make them look homey--something you'd put on your table or window ledge. My friends and family love it. So simple and so cheap---I only use what I can get for cents!!!!! People ask for them through the whole year
