I went to the Goodwill and purchased Corelle bowls for $2.00. I tried to get the senior citizen discount but I had the wrong day. I think each Goodwill has different days that they have senior citizen discounts.

I found a gorgeous Dana Buchman purse at St. Vinney's for $7.

I was out and about today and stopped at the Goodwill. I got Easter baskets for my grandsons. They were only $1.00 each. One basket had straw in it too. I bought an extra one in case I decide to give their parents baskets too. I come from a large family and we always had Easter plates for everyone big and small. I bought something to hang up that will hold my jewelry. It only cost $3.00 and it was brand new. I got two collector plates for $1.00 each too. I feel pretty good about my finds today. I try to buy stuff I can use and enjoy at the same time.
The BF and I randomly went into a vintage store one night to browse the furniture. A lot of it was really pricey, but we were really going just to get ideas.
Anyway, they had clothing, and I thought it would be super expensive, but it wasn't! And as a bonus, vintage items seem to fit me really well! I bought 3 dresses and none of them cost more than $20! One was even a Lily Pulitzer - we went online and saw that a similar dress on eBay was over $100!

I am a thrift store/yard sale addict. I furnished my home with things from them. One of my treasures is an antique lamp I got for $5 and I saw a similar one in an antique store with a price of $100 and it wasn't nearly as pretty as the one I got. While I was checking out, someone tried to buy it from me for double what was on it. My hubby recently got an antique clock for $5 and has been offered $75 for it but it sits in the living room- at least for now! I pretty much buy all our clothes like this and recently got my hubby a shirt that I priced new at $60 and we got it at a yard sale for $1.
I bought a sofa bed last year for $15.00. I just bought a Kelty backpack for $8.00. I recently went to Philly and checked out some of their thrift stores. I enjoyed looking but they seemed overpriced. I also shop Goodwill and they give you a senior discount of 15 percent on certain days during the week.
Here in Washington state we have a lot of Antique stores, so I go to a lot of them and do shopping. I have gotten a lot of great deals on old garden tools that I have been using. Old signs with garden veggies on them. I love to shop local thrift stores also.

I shop the local Goodwill stores. They sell pants for $4 and shirts for $3. I can buy an entire outfit for work for under $10. The best deal was a Vera Wang dress I found to wear for my son's wedding. I bought it for less than $2.
I love thrift shopping for clothes when they're needed. My husband and I also sometimes buy things now and then to sell on ebay to supplement our income so that I can stay home and take care of the house. I once bought a very used Gucci bag for $2.00 that sold for nearly $70. I would say that's the greatest "bargain" we've found. As for myself, I could give a diddly less about name brands, but I do look for quality when we shop for clothes. I very seldom buy from retail stores unless the items are on a very very good clearance.

We have a couple of great thrift stores in our town. I recently found a like-new Bobby Jones shirt for my hubby for $2.49. I thought it was a golf shirt, so I looked online and found the cheapest ones in the Bobby Jones line in that particular style cost close to $100. I DID GOOD! More recently, from two stores, I put together my Easter outfit for about the same price:)
What super-buys have you found at thrift stores/flea markets?
