did it! planned thanksgiving, invites, decor, shopping list and I think it will be the least expensive, ever.

Am streamlining, simplifying, reusing, editing machine!

It might still make me a little fatter - but at least it won't make me broke in time for x-mas!



Six pounds. That is it.

I am trying to make menus around food already in my pantry & freezer. I have done pretty good. Sometimes, I just write down what I am trying to use, then plan more detail on the day.

Last night, I made a corn soup based on a recipe on the food network's healthy page. It had red bell pepper & yellow squash in it. All of which I needed to use. Then we had frozen beef & bean burritos / baked. They needed fixed as they were going to end up freezer burned. DH seemed to enjoy. I told him we were eating "fiesta soup."

I had never heard of FlyLady before reading your message, so I immediately checked out her website. Looks like an interesting site with plenty of informative articles and videos. I'll need to take a further look in order to familiarize myself with all of the features. Thanks for introducing me to a new site!

I originally found the Fly Lady from a tip from a fellow Sparker. She has some great advice, but when I joined her website, my mailbox was overloaded with Fly Mail. I since withdrew my membership, but visit the site about once a week. It helps me stay focused on house work. But I have found some helpful tips related to menu planning as well.
