I have a big chest freezer. We are lucky enough to be able to get chicken and beef from our neighbor a few times a year. I also freeze quite a bit of veggies from my garden. It really cuts down on the grocery bill!

This thread is where you post ALL your Q?'s, ideas, comments, tips, etc for stocking up, saving money, saving on items, substituting items, etc.

Let's prepare for the future now! If we go into a depression, we'll be better prepared to survive.... If we don't, we'll be that much better prepared & have an ample supply of food on hand!!!!

Either way it's a win/win situation for us!
