“There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results.”
When you get to a plateau, think of it as a landing on the stairway to your goal. And maintenance is a lifelong plateau, so a bit of "rehearsal" for maintenance isn't the worst thing in the world

I have done powerpoint / internet presentations on the projector where I work...unfortunately not a lot of interest when I did...should give a holler and see if I can do this again sometime...although since they blocked SP access doubt they'll allow that any more.
What I also do in the course of my community work which involves accompanying clients to a wide variety of medical appts. is to step aside with the health care professional and give a mini-SP pitch (including my 200+ pound weight loss...!) and hand them a fistful of flyers.
Maybe I'll pick up some mugs for the lunchroom sometime...hmmm!

I've been browsing the Spark store and a novel idea hit me of how I can spread the spark a little. I am a nurse in a busy ob/gyn practice with 8 physicians and 3 nurse practitioners. The Spark store has some fun coffee mugs available in all 4 cheerful spark colors for only $6 a piece. I am going to buy one for each of our practitioners and enclose a note telling them how I attribute my weight loss success to the support I received from SparkPeople.com. They have many patients that they suggest weight loss to and the mugs will be a reminder to them just where to direct the patient to our wonderful website!
Anybody else think of a way they can spread the spark through their healthcare employment?
