very interesting ideas..............thanks for sharing.............
There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results.
When you get to a plateau, think of it as a landing on the stairway to your goal. And maintenance is a lifelong plateau, so a bit of "rehearsal" for maintenance isn't the worst thing in the world
I saw this idea for a thread on another SparkTeam and knew I HAD to borrow it for us here too! :-)
User "MOEDANCING" shared these thoughts to get things rolling:
"Looking for that perfect gift for someone you love? hmmmmm
How bout one that is free?
"Free...did she say Free?"
How bout one that can change the life of the recipient?
Yep... you know where I am going with this...after all it is the topic of this thread!
Ya know... if you think about it...you can be Santa to everyone you meet...print up a bunch of cards... business cards...maybe labels... maybe print www.sparkpeople.com on them and hand them out to the clerks, the cashiers, the drive through people, the delivery guy ... put them in your holiday cards and gifts...you get the idea
How are YOU giving the 'THE GIFT OF SPARK' this season?"
