Okay so far everyone has their own challenge.............. mine will be the sleeping........ ADDED:.......... after I'm done being sick....... I plan on adding drinking more water daily..... I've really slowed down being sick..

MARCH:
1st......... 4 hours last night.
2nd........ 5 hours straight.
3rd,,,,,,,,, 5 hours then fell back asleep for 3 more.
4th........ 3 hours.... woke up every 3 hours..... bad night..
5th........ 4 hours waking up every two after that.
6th......... 4 hours doing the same thing waking up.
7th......... 6 full hours before I woke up...... Yahoooo!!!
8th......... 5 straight hours........ then fell back asleep until my med's. pretty good night.
9th......... 4 hours...... then waking up every hour or so...... not a good night.
10th....... 6 full hours..... then I slept until it was time to get up...... Whoohoo!!
11th....... 6 straight hours again..........then up and down until I got up for the day.
12th....... 2 hours........ bad night.. woke up every 2 hours.....
13th....... 4 full hours......... then woke up a few times more through the night.......
14th....... 3 hours........... up and down every 3 hours....... not a good night.
15th....... 1 hour........ keep getting up on the hour all night........ bad night.
16th....... 4 hours straight........ then 4 more hours straight...... 8 altogether... feels good.
17th....... 3 hours.......... woke up every 3 hours......... bad night......

Been so busy forgot to log my minutes of cardio. I have walked and exercised but cardio is important and I am trying to add more.



To get at least 20 minutes of cardio every day will be my challenge !

March 1 = n/a
2= 2 hours
3= 25 minutes
4= 45 first time ,second?(if time)
5= 0 minutes (day of rest)
6= 25 minutes

Okay so far everyone has their own challenge.............. mine will be the sleeping........ ADDED:.......... after I'm done being sick....... I plan on adding drinking more water daily..... I've really slowed down being sick..

MARCH:
1st......... 4 hours last night.
2nd........ 5 hours straight.
3rd,,,,,,,,, 5 hours then fell back asleep for 3 more.
4th........ 3 hours.... woke up every 3 hours..... bad night..
5th........ 4 hours waking up every two after that.
6th......... 4 hours doing the same thing waking up.
7th......... 6 full hours before I woke up...... Yahoooo!!!
8th......... 5 straight hours........ then fell back asleep until my med's. pretty good night.
9th......... 4 hours...... then waking up every hour or so...... not a good night.

1st......... 4 hours last night.
2nd........ 5 hours straight.
3rd,,,,,,,,, 5 hours then fell back asleep for 3 more.
4th........ 3 hours.... woke up every 3 hours..... bad night..
5th........ 4 hours waking up every two after that.
6th......... 4 hours doing the same thing waking up.
7th......... 6 full hours before I woke up...... Yahoooo!!!
8th......... 5 straight hours........ then fell back asleep until my med's. pretty good night.
9th......... 4 hours...... then waking up every hour or so...... not a good night.
10th....... 6 full hours..... then I slept until it was time to get up...... Whoohoo!!
11th....... 6 straight hours again..........then up and down until I got up for the day.
12th....... 2 hours........ bad night.. woke up every 2 hours.....
13th....... 4 full hours......... then woke up a few times more through the night.......

I ordered and received my new adjustable ankle weights this week. I did my first set of exercises with them moving from my old weights of 2.5 pounds to 4 pounds in the new ones (they can go up to 20 pounds each).

I'll try adding more reps next time, I may have to bump it up a pound or two to see how I feel. But, I must say it feels pretty good to be considering adding more weight.

Sherry, take care of yourself. The viruses have been pretty vicious this winter and long lasting as well. The cold I had just would linger and just wouldn't go away.

Okay so far everyone has their own challenge.............. mine will be the sleeping........ ADDED:.......... after I'm done being sick....... I plan on adding drinking more water daily..... I've really slowed down being sick..

MARCH:
1st......... 4 hours last night.
2nd........ 5 hours straight.
3rd,,,,,,,,, 5 hours then fell back asleep for 3 more.
4th........ 3 hours.... woke up every 3 hours..... bad night..
5th........ 4 hours waking up every two after that.
6th......... 4 hours doing the same thing waking up.
7th......... 6 full hours before I woke up...... Yahoooo!!!
8th......... 5 straight hours........ then fell back asleep until my med's. pretty good night.
9th......... 4 hours...... then waking up every hour or so...... not a good night.
10th....... 6 full hours..... then I slept until it was time to get up...... Whoohoo!!

i GET ENOUGH SLEEP........USING MY C-PAP.....PLUS 20 MG OF AMBIEN EACH NIGHT.......I DO QUITE WELL ON SEVEN HOURS.........NOW THAT I AM TAKING PERCOCET, I AM PLANNING ON MORE WALKING.................WHEN I WAS WALKING BEFORE BAD WEATHER SET IN.....AND DICK DIDN'T GO WITH ME, HE WOULD SET THE TIMER AND COME LOOKING FOR ME IF I DIDN'T RETURN IN 30 MINUTES.......AND USUALLY FIND ME PROPPED UP AGAINST A TREE! WE ARE REALLY COUNTRY HERE....WITH A CAPITAL 'K'......AND THE DIRT ROAD I WALK ON HAS NO HOUSES.....BUT I USUALLY SEE ALL KINDS OF 'CRITTERS' LARGE AND SMALL. I DON'T LIKE TO WALK THAT AREA DURING HUNTING SEASONS....BECAUSE A HUNTER COULD MISTAKE ME FOR A HIPPO! THERE ARE HIPPOS IN MICHIGAN, AREN'T THERE?........I'M LIVING PROOF!

Hi all!

I usually get a good night's sleep. What I'm going to do is get some kind of workout 5 days a week, whether it's strength training, stationary bike, walking, even cleaning, whatever I can do. This year I have put on the 7 pounds I lost. We just had a snowstorm a couple of days ago but the sun is out and we'll have a bunch of rain in a few days that will help with the melting. The sidewalks are going to be an ice obstacle course for a bit but spring is almost here.

It's a new month and I'm joining this challenge!! Okay, I already sleep more than 8 and if anything I'd like to get up earlier, so that isn't the challenge for me, and since walking is out I'm choosing my personal challenge as 15 minutes of cardio a day. I've failed at it so far, but I'm going to try to copy Carrie's idea for a sig that gives me accountibility.

This is great to see some of you here to start this challenge................ I have a real hard time with sleeping at night.......... and I thought there must be lots others that have the same problem.............. So what we're trying to do here............ is get more sleep each night...... a full 8 hours with no interruptions...... Good sleep has so much to do with how your days goes.... your energy level...... and has lots to do with losing weight...............

So for me last night.............. I got two hours in and then wake up.......... this goes on all night for me.......... so I want to try and get better hours......... not this break up sleep......... so I'm trying to get better that two hours at a time..........

Okay and for the walking some of you want to do............... good idea.......... for some of us right now we can't get outside to walk because of all the snow and ice............. so I'm going to count my walking inside for now........... and we can post how we do with that here..

So let's make it happen this month..................... best of luck to us all......... emoticon emoticon emoticon
