Oooh, I had a quick question too. Is it normal to lose less in your second month than in your first? Am I slacking this month, is the 18th too soon to tell, was last month just a fluke for me, or is it normal to lose more the first month? I know I haven't been exercising because of the surgery, but even before that I wasn't losing weight as fast as I was last month. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or what. I feel frustrated because I really want to reach my goal of fitting back in my own jeans by my birthday. :-/

I think I haven't actually posted where I'm at since March 2nd.
March 1st--159 March 18th--154 (I'm not counting that other pound I lost until I can take all the stupid surgery stuff off and weigh myself properly.)
So I'm down 5 lbs. so far for March! Woo hoo!!

I understand how you feel I am stuck at my weight and have nothing to report except that this week nothing happened and try a little harder for next weeks weigh in. I am feeling frustrated and kinda down but this will pass and today is a new day and it should be for you too Jodie. It's not easy but you can start right now and change it and so can I so lift up your spririts and I'll lift up mine and will see what next week brings.

Welcome and thanks for joing for the first time or again for another month either way it is all good and I ask the team to participate in the weight loss challenge after all we are all here to lose weight and or maintain. Jodie what you posted is fine. that is for the list I will make on march 1st any weight loss can be poseted if you weigh in that day or any day after I don't need anyones weight I just need how much you lost for example i weigh in on monday so on march 3rd I will weigh myself and if I lost I will post in this thread example 2 lbs lost.
I don't need to know anyone's weight.

For this challenge you will weigh in on march 1st or any day after that losing before the challenge in march is good and a personal acheivement but it won't count or be posted until march 1st I suppose we would not want to carry over a weight loss From february into March if lost before the 1st.

I hope I am doing this right. Count me in for the March challange. As of Tuesday, (Our weigh-in Day)February 26 I weighed in on my JAX SPARKIES TEAM at 350. I was down five more pounds. I had not lost anything the week before. So, do I weigh in again Saturday or do you just want to use my weigh-in from Tuesday? If at all possible I would only like to weigh myself once a week. I don't know if this is alright or not. Will you let me know? Thank you my friend.

The Goonies and Lifestyle Weight Management will also be doing this challenge so if you belong to all 3 teams post on all three if you belong to two post on two and of course if you belong to just this team post here it's alot of fun and if you look at the weight this team has lost plus what The Goonies and Lifestyle Weight Management have lost you will be amazed at our progress & are Results & that's the key.

Ok folks starting 3/1/08 we are starting a group weight loss challenge and I have to give the credit Again to Andie_J for comming up and starting this great challenge.
I know we all weigh in different times some weekly,some bi-weekly,some monthly etc.... I just thought we could all post our progress in here. that way we can cheer each other on whether its a good or a bad week or use each other as motivation Those who are having a great week can always leave a tip to those of us who may be struggling to help them get on track too."
So my personal weigh-in Day is Monday so I will post my results in this forum on and invite you all to do the same on your weigh in day.

So what ever day you weigh in that will be what you post is your weight and I will make a list of names and each time you weigh in post it and I'll add it to the team roster as we go it is really very simple.
