These are great resources--thanks so much for sharing them. As someone who's gone to extremes in the past, I can't emphasize enough how important the "setting realistic goals" component is. So many times, usually with the best of intentions, I took on too much and burned myself out. I still push myself from time to time, but am much more in touch with when is a good time for me to do that and when I need to be content with coasting a bit more. Consistency doesn't mean we necessarily have to do everything exactly the same way. For me, it means having a flexible range for my habits that I try not to sway too much from in either direction most of the time.

None of these are terribly long to read but I truly feel a lot of the problems we encounter (I add myself into this category) when it comes to weight loss or any other goal we set out to conquer is lack of consistency.
