I tracked absolutely everything that went into my mouth. I went over my kcals, but I haven't tried to skimp down. Brutal honesty with myself is the way forward.

I am still tracking my food, and the results today showed I didn't get enough protein. I'll work on that tomorrow and get some cottage cheese for a snack for tomorrow night.

I had a great day! Some of the health insurance issues are cleared up, I hope! I bought some protein powder, 100% Whey Protein, it is made in Sherwood Wisconsin, about 10 miles from were we live! I like the healthy ingredients! The employee was very helpful, he said eat some protein before bed, keeps your body active even though you are asleep! So keeping metabolism up there! He said if you do not take the protein, eat a bit of cottage cheese or anything high in protein!

Good start to the day!

I started tracking my food with breakfast. Yoga this morning, and now I am walking to the bulk food store for supplies to make granola.

I got out of bed with a smile on my face. It's always good to start out looking at the good part in your life. Then I felt good enough to make my own breakfast not just a bowl of cereal. I had eggs and an English muffin.

I lost 3 pounds, this is because I stuck to it! This is day 5 for me with SP, but I left another diet program, I was stuck at 5 pounds, their program was not for me! I am motivated and on a roll!

I'm currently visiting my parents and it's a little difficult to track my food and to make good and healthy choices, as of course now I'm having my meals with them. However, I told my Mum about how serious I am about getting healthy and fit, and she supports me (even though she chuckled when I pulled out my kitchen scale yesterday to weigh all the food I put on my plate)!

Another thing was that I hadn't eaten enough for breakfast today (almost no protein), so I was already feeling hungry again an hour later. Instead of mindlessly snacking out of the fridge, I prepared a small protein-filled snack and ate it. Afterwards, out of habit, I wanted more, but as I was standing in front of the opened fridge, I told myself "habit, boredom, no!", closed the fridge, grabbed a glass of water and walked away.

KIMMIERN, that is major-samples are such a hard thing to resist and so easy to justify. Well done you!

I didn't hang about this morning, I have gotten all the exercise I promised myself I would do done! I'm free for the rest of the day-well free to look around on Spark anyway!

One thing i did right today was when I was at Costco with my Husband and friends and they were trying all the samples I refrained and stuck to my meal plan emoticon

Bought one of those step counters and actually read the instructions and got the thing on my shoes ... bought healthy food from the store and avoided the cookie and chips isle.

The one thing I did right today was... instead of giving up on the treadmill, when it was getting tough, I slowed down my pace and finished.

I just joined yesterday. I have already tracked my food for today. I have done half of my planned exercises and the rest I plan to do later. I have spent quite a bit of time just getting my account (Spark Page, Goal Board, etc.) set up so this will be brief.

Congrats everyone on a good day - still bitter cold here and snowing so I didn't get outside, again. But, i tracked everything I consumed today and only drank natural herbal tea and water. Said no to cheese and crackers which is hard for me. Go me!

It's never too late. I will be true to myself.

Woke up at 5am to attend my circuit training class with my sister. I am also trying to figure out how all of this works which is a step in the right direction!! Everyone have a great day.

I got up and did cheer class with my daughter. Not exactly an aerobic workout, but I got up and got moving so it was a step in the right direction for me. I also did my PT strength training on my own today which I am proud of. One foot in front of the other...gotto make that U-Turn :)

Yesterday was my start date so of course I'm not going to see any results just yet, but, I didn't have any soda and I have drank 2 - 1 liter bottles of water. I have also tracked everything that I have done and put a step counter on my phone. I manage a convenience store so I am always walking and I was just curious to see how much I actually walk! Getting ready to go play on the Wii with my son. We just bought the Just Dance Disney. I figure if the kids can do it so can I!

Yup, it's an opportunity to celebrate!!!

Our over all journey to a healthier life style can often be viewed with a microscope rather than a telescope. It's those small things that keep us moving forward. Share them with us and we will revel in your glory and support you during those dry spells.

It might be exercise related. It may be staying within your calorie limits for a day. It can even be saying a loud NO to the things that derail you.

One of my favorites is when I'm in a slump: "The one thing I did right today is show up here at Spark for love and support."

Share them with us. It's important.
