I'm terribly sorry about the strokes - that is very scarey! I hope that you have recovered and doing well health-wise.
I'm a big fan of the 5 day pouch test. Google it and you'll see it. I've done it about 5ish months ago - maybe 6 months ago but have been able to take off the 10 lbs I gained from last year. It was amazing cause it made me realize that I had quickly become a carb junkie - YIKES! My pouch tightened up and I was eating like I did that first year after surgery. I plan on doing the 5 day pouch test every year now just to keep myself AND my pouch in working order.
I am so sorry that you have had your health problems, that does not make it very easy. Luckily you have found a great place to be. I had 30 lbs. find me too. I found a web site that has been a life saver for me-besides SP- It is the five day pouch test. What it does is help you to figure out if your pouch is still working the way that it should. The site is LivingAfterWLS.com It is great. I suggest starting there and getting back to basics. I hope that this helps you. If you have any questions you may ask me at anytime. Good luck, and Keep on keepin' on.. Ma
Nothing tastes as good as thin feels.
A life without God is like an unsharpened pencil.....it has no point.
May 11/2011 I had 4 mini strokes within 10 days, drs didnt want me exercising because I kept passing out. was put on steriods for 8 months. after the bypass I lost 135lbs. in the last year or so 34lbs have found me . I need a jump start. get back the motivation I had before the mini strokes. I was told there is a way to get a fresh start ... jumpstart... I could use some help and info. I do not want to gain any more weight... that is for sure! Lisa
