One week I was down 2 pounds - this past week UP 1 pound - I am still down 1 pound so not complaining. I sometimes wish the math worked more efficiently than the reality does.

With love and caring from Nancy ... wishing all of you a wonderful, blessed, and precious day.

Leisa: I feel for you! It's so hard for us to take care of ourselves when our loved ones are having medical crises. But we have got to do this, for them and for us. You are in about the same size range as me, i think and want to lose about the same amount.

I downloaded the free journal for 100 days of weight loss here: http://www.100dayschallenge.com/downloads/
100DaysJournal.pdf Haven't had time to read the book yet, but the journal lessons are simple, and give you daily homework to start building awareness and better habits.

Do it daily or at your own pace. Forgive yourself if life gets hectic for a few days and just try your best....but get back on track as soon as you can.

Hi, I have put on a lot of weight over the past 3 years.I weighed about 198 and probably gained close to 50lbs. I started gaining 1st when my husband( boyfriend at the time suffered multiple heart attacks and died 11 times) then we have been dealing since then with him not feeling well for a year and having to have another stent in and plus we got married last June. So all of that stress has not been good for me. Plus my job is stressful and he has been promoted to supervisor and either works late in the evenings or has to go to bed early. So guess what I do...your right eat, cause I'm bored. So if anyone has any ideas to how to start this, I would really appreciate it.

I started with the original group, but lost ground while I was "out of it" with a cold for over 2 weeks. I'm on day 41 -- just spool down to that day on the original team blogs. The last few "days" have been wonderfully helpful. I'm undecided which topic I will post on - perhaps I'll double up on some days? Have any of you run into this problem?

Let the good times increase as the weight shrinks.

go sparklers! All you feb starters you can do it! Please jump on in w/us too, we are on day 49, it is possible to do both. It's mostly about changing neg thinking and relearning to think differently, alot of sparklers said they thought it should of started where we are now than did the first 10 lessons. ck it out! Tomm is "Just do something" it's about doing one tiny task to get yourself jump started. You can do it! We can do it! Keep sparking to success!

Joanne, thank you for your kind words - I did gain some weight but that was over an almost 3 month stretch that included death, holidays, lots of snowed in days, limited pool time, and so forth - gain was less than 10 pounds so I am not overly upset about it. I KNOW I can turn it back around.

Nancypat, I am sorry for your loss. I totally understand about needing to get past that before starting. I'm thinking of now many creampuffs I ate the day of my dad's wake. They were good, but they did not ease my sorrow, or help at all with my dread of the following day's funeral.

I am hoping that this program will give me the life skills I need to get through upcoming hard times without using food as a crutch.

Hope your day is going well today!

I am starting today - I intended to start at the beginning but my stepmother's death and all this snow delayed my start. I have regained some weight but nothing that I cannot get rid of again. Weighed in for the first time since November.

Today's starting weight was 245

This is for all of us february newbies to buddy up on the journey. I have been posting my daily workbook exercises on my spark blog. I am on day 5 today.

About me: i am a returning sparkler...please help me stay motivated! I dont want to weigh this much ever again. I am doing really well so far, lost 15 since the holidays with only one minor gainback.

Just posted my Day5 thoughts on 100Days of Weight loss over on my sparkpage blog.
