Did you see the SP video about a 16-yr old girl who broke the record of doing the Plank for 80 minutes!!!!!! Woohoo!

Still working on my modified plank; up to 50 seconds.

I did a "moving" plank yesterday. 2x's
The method is to start w/ a full plank, then while staying in position, move down to forearms & then back up to full plank. The idea is to continue movement of "full to half & return" through your entire timed amount.

It is harder than not for me right now. I managed 40 sec. the 1st time & 50 sec the 2nd time. Whew!

I really thought I would get more spring cleaning done. Oh well. I did my plank today -- 60 seconds! And I added spring cleaning as a calendar item for tomorrow afternoon. We'll see if that works. emoticon

Forced to clean out refrigerator after it broke down & almost caused a kitchen fire! The new one is smaller with less shelves, so I have to keep it cleaned out.

Will start w/ plank time tomorrow. Apparently doing the plank on forearms is harder for core than with straight arms (which works shoulders more than core).

Wow. Just writing stuff down does NOT get you to do it! I haven't done any de-cluttering yet, except to add more stuff to my list; cleaning out drawers and cabinets and closets. I did do a plank in my Sculpting class for about 30 seconds last Wednesday. Today, I'm gonna make vege soup and when I'm in the kitchen I'm gonna clean out one drawer.
And here I go with today's plank -- 40 seconds!
Sometimes it's slow-going but,

This is a great challenge. I was noticing how dirty my windows are. I will make a list and do something on it 5 days each week (everyday is too lofty for me). So far on my list is windows, cobwebbing, picture organizing. And I have time on Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat & Sun. It's so good to really quantify and be specific about these kinds of things, or they don't get done. Thanks again for this timely challenge. Oh yeah, and I'm going to plank, starting with 20 seconds and working my way up to 90 seconds by April 30th. Yikes! I'll keep you posted!

My goal is to get my yard in order. Plus some major spring cleaning in the house. The yard is going to take me quite a while especially since we still have snow and I can't get out to rake.

Put away the green St. Pat's decor and pulled out the Easter pastel decor. Trying to organize my fridge!

My goal for April is to organize my closet, do at least 3 shelves. Last month I set a goal to rearrange all of my clothes but apparently that was too lofty a goal because I didn't make it. Hence the 3 shelves.

Another goal is to come up with a plan - just a plan, to implement it is for later - to streamline our laundry and ironing. There are too may clean but unfolded and unironed clothes laying around!

It's April already! What happened to March?

Ok the goals for April is Spring cleaning/organizing. That is your house, your garden, what ever you have to clean or organize, this is the time to do it! Please post what you do here!
(My goal is to clean out at least 1 drawer or closet or something every day.

For those who want a more physical challenge, this is plank month! See how long you can hold a plank and try to improve your time by the end of the month! How long can you hold a plank? Time to find out!
