I did 11 minute seated cardio workout and 33 minute interval walking and I am feeling some good muscles.

I did a 60-min strength/cardio Beach Body workout. I just found an old DVD and decided to try it. It was hard, but I pushed myself and I completed the full workout!!! Yay! I usually work out in the afternoon, but I am goin to visit my friends tonight and it means to things:
1. I am NOT going to work out later today
2. I will have a good dinner and a few drinks, so I should burn some calories in advance.

So, I'm proud of myself today. And who motivates me to keep pushing myself? YOU GUYS! Thanks!

A few years ago I had purchased the series "Insanity" and faithfully did it for the first month and a week into the second month. Then I went on a family vacation and naturally fell out of it. But that was when I was "dieting". Now that I just recently committed to a healthy lifestyle change and joined SP a few days ago, I tried Insanity for the first time again today (pyometric cardio circuit to be exact)! The workout was hard because it's all about pushing yourself. While I didn't push myself as hard as I possibly could (literally my first day working out in months), it was still a great workout and it left me panting in a pile of sweat!

I exercise right before bed. Last night I did Jillian Michaels 6 pack abs in 6 weeks level 1. I haven't worked out in months so today I am super sore. It's a good sore though.

Your 1 mile is not pitiful at all! Great job! The point of this isn't how much we did- it is the fact that you got up, pit in the effort, and walked- so great job! Keep it up!

OK, Spark friends, all of your exercises make my "walking a mile" look PITIFUL!! Not complaining, though. Keep up the good work. emoticon

Like I have said, exercising is not my favorite thing, but I do aim on making it something I want to do everyday. I have read that that will happen if we keep on keeping on. I get my moving with projects I need to do, like picking up limbs in our pecan grove, mowing, etc..., anything outside, but not enough to be fit.

45 minutes on the arc trainer (A common cardio machine at planet fitness- and man did it wipe me out!)
15 minutes on the treadmill- ran a mile in 9:04- in which case I just about passed out.

I ran 4 miles, did the elliptical for 25 minutes, and lifted with the arms!

Elliptical and my 3- 5 minutes of daily stair climbing to keep my knees functional. Lucky my wet hair didn't freeze as I came home late this afternoon...I think it would have yesterday!

It's my second day and I'm excited. Instead of sitting in a chair watching the same morning news loop for an hour, I did yoga for 31 minutes, Wii 10 minute run and later did 10 minutes on the stepper. The only thing I'm feeling guilty about eating is the blueberry cheesecake my mother made me. Other than that little digression, I'm so happy I did over 40 minutes of Wii this morning! Yippee emoticon
