This is the hare team if you want to go hard core non stop workout.
The turtle team is for slow pace and limited mobility. If you want the hares, just stay here, if you want the turtles, go to the Turtle Team Weigh in and make a post there. Look at the other posts for examples.

I joined sparkpeople years ago and never did much with it. Now, I've come back and want to make it happen. So far since the beginning of the year I've lost 5 and gained 2 back. I am Pat and I have been doing the fitness and attempting to follow my lifestyle food plan. I have been stuck in the spot I am hovering over for over a year. Trying to eat less puts me in starvation mode and I may actually be there anyway, and trying to do more fitness puts me in a lot more time than I have. However, God does not give out excuses and I have determined, neither will I any longer. I am going to really examine my food intake and do more exericse.

I have become very active compared with what I used to be, basically a couch potato. Now I am up and moving around, quickly, doing all kinds of things to make my life much more active, every two hours, at least. Perhaps making some of those two hour stretch and moves another walk would be a good idea. I do a mile in 20 minutes and think I might be able to do it a little faster, which would give me a 15 minute burst break. So that will be my additional fitness starting today.

I have to lose more weight. I lost 45, then got stuck and keep yoyoing on 5 pounds. This time I'm getting off the yoyo and moving on.

I have been around for nearly a month, but haven't been on the forums much.

I've lost a little over 17 lbs since Christmas. I don't know if I will continue to lose as quickly during February, but I am up for the challenge. Here are my stats:

December 25= 263 lbs
