Well, it turns out I spent several minutes walking but without a pedometer I don't have a good idea as to the distance. So count me for a total of 2.5 miles walking a known distance...and will try to do better with this next month.
Even though I really wish I could have done more, 3 walks to the post office this month happened because of this challenge, and normally I don't take the time to do that.
So far I only have 1.46 miles of actual walking for exercise purpose, but I'm not getting discouraged because we still have 10 days!
Thanks to this challenge I sat down and made myself figure out that a round trip walk from my work to drop mail off at the post office is worth 0.46 miles, 10 fitness minutes, and 40 calories burned, and a little less guilt
