I have worked out like a crazy woman this month. Burning on average 2500 calories a week though sadly I have only gotten down to 176.5. So no great loss for the month but I really do feel alot stronger and my work out intensity has tripled.
Weight: 179 lbs Waist: 34.5 inch Hips: 41.75 inch Arms: 12 inch size Swim suit: 16 (Falling out of the top but okay on the bottoms)
I took pictures this morning and will post them at the end of the month. I really want to start seeing more definition this month and to make the mom pudge go away. Along with dropping another pants size.
I am not proud of my measurements but after going back and looking at last years measurements I am 24 pounds lighter in that bathing suit this year than what I was last year. Maybe next year I will be another 30 to 40 pounds lighter again and I can burn that suit. ha ha!
None of us want to think about putting on another bathing suit with a skirt attached trying to hide ourselves as much as possible while still participating in beach/pool activities with the family. So I was thinking about doing a size challenge. I think we should post our size we are currently wearing and go for one size smaller. This means not pounds lost on the scale but muscle toning to lose those inches. I have been trying to incorporate more Muscle strengthening into my workouts so that while I loose I also tone at the same time. So maybe we can post our goal and then post how much strength training you did each week.

I read this little clip from another group and I wanted to share it because I thought it was inspiring.
"This time, I commit to finishing my challenge because Iím done starting over ďnext MondayĒ and thinking about all the great things Iíll do later. I'm scared of posting pictures (before, after, basically any). Terrified in fact. I want to stop judging myself constantly. I have faith that I CAN be a runner. And THIS TIME, I will NOT quit, because THIS TIME itís not a freakiní diet Ė itís my real life.
My top five non-health related motivations right now are: 1. Having photos of myself that I want to frame and post for all to see. 2. Wearing the cute clothes hanging in my closet with the tags still on. 3. Getting rid of the not-so-cute clothes that are too big (no going back!) 4. Not looking like I just had a baby when that baby turns one. 5. Going on a boat. In a bathing suit. Without a cover up.
The best way to motivate me is to tell me I canít win. #winning The best way I can motivate myself is to write it down and make it a priority. My name is _______and I will NEVER STOP TRYING."
I thought that was very inspiring and in many places I felt like I wrote it so I thought it might be a little motivation to keep moving forward, losing the weight and feeling good about yourselves.
