I have been working out like a mad woman since last Monday 10 days ago. Not so good with the eatting on the weekend but spot on during the week. I have also increased my workouts so instead of the normal 30 minutes in the morning before the kids get up I have been getting in 45 minutes to an hour each day. I also added the eliptical to my workouts which is helping burn crazy calories!

Well I think you are doing a pretty darn good job considering all that you have on ur plate. How has ur eating habits been and working out? Did you weigh in yet?

I am now only doing the weekends over there and I am not going this Saturday because I am taking the kids to Nags Head beach for the day! So I will just spend Sunday with her this week. I really don't want the kids to not have fun this summer so I am trying to juggle work, entertainment for the kids, and helping out with Grandma. Lets not forget my hubby is on military deployment so I am pulling it all off while being a single parents. Why am I not skinny? I never sit down! ha ha

Well I know she appreciates every minute of your time. But please dont forget that you need ur time as well. I shall tell you that I work as a Certified Nursing Assistant in an Assisted Living Community in my town. I have been doing it now for 7 years and love every minute of it.

I just want you to know that you dont need to get burnt out or anything. I see families do it all the time. If you ever need any advice or anything at all, dont hesitate to contact me.

She feel on Friday because 3 of the medications she is on causes dizziness. She now has a Physical therapist coming to the house 3 days a week and so I am hoping she will build up her strength soon. I spent the weekend at her house during the day and my uncle stayed at night. This weekend I learned how to crochet (not that I really wanted to) but it made her happy and I shucked and froze some corn for her. The kids got to play on the farm and they had fun riding the tractors out there.

She lives in the country and my grandfather built there house when they where first married. To take her off of the home farm would kill her. That is all she has looked forward since being in the hospital. She also lives a 1/2 mile from the church and that is her other driving force. Luckly my uncle lives 3 houses away but I just worry all the same.

Have you thought about an RCAC to put her in? That is a Resident Care Apartment Complex. Independant living with the joys of the facility cooking for her and helping her out here an there. You should really think about it. Then you wouldn't have to worry so much.

Coming home from the rehab center tomorrow. She went without a walker yesterday and today they were going to have her cook at the rehab place. Maybe she can cook them something good to eat. ha ha! Hopefully she will be back to herself soon, however I worry about her being at the house by herself after all she has been through.

Having both Spark and WW will help alot because you have a person pushing you to stay on track at the meetings and you have 24 hour support with Spark!

Last night I joined WW. It worked before for me with a friend and she just rejoined. So she convinced me to join her and I did. The best part is that if I feel like it isn't working after a month, I can just quite it.

However, I feel like this is my last hope. I talked with my husband and told him that he is just not helping me and I need this. So I am hoping for results. This last week I gained bc I had a procedure done and had to lay in bed almost all wknd. Yesterday I finally could get up. Eating and not exercising is not a good combination.

So wish me luck on this new adventure and have a good week to a new start.

I started off good last night. Got back from the rehab center visiting my Grandma and started cleaning. I touch up painted my 1/2 back, clean and oiling my table and chairs, vaccummed and did 3 loads of laundrey. I worked out on bike the bike the eliptical this morning and my plans tonight are clean some more and do at least 30 minutes of zumba in.

This next week I am also on a mission. I have finally found an old friend that I have been looking for a long time. We have made plans to take a trip for a weekend in September to get away. I would like to look good and be able to buy nice clothes in a smaller size.

Therefore, I am also revamping my goals because by then I would like to be down 24 pounds. I am:

1. Workout 5 days a week for 1 hr of cardio and 3 days of 30 mins of strength training.
2. Be positive even on days that I just want to scream.
3. Control my cravings and turn to my support when I need them
4. Get outside more with my son and do crazy things with him.
5. Eat more fruits and veggies.

Starting next week I am on a 3 month mission to lose 20 pounds before being in a wedding and wearing the dreaded ugly bridesmaid dress. So starting next Monday my goals will be
1- Work out at least 1 hour a day 4 to 5 days a week if not everyday.
2- Be super strict on my diet (which is where I normally fall short)
3- Keep the kids active and moving all summer long
4- Help my daughter keep a healthy lifestyle.

Don't get down. This last week has been hard for me. That time of the month. I even upped my cardio to burn 2500 cals a week and still the scale didn't budge. I am hoping that next week will be a better weigh in.

Burning the candle at both ends has really been catching up with me. Not eating so well now either. But I WILL BE BACK ON TRACK AS OF THE 19TH. When one of my distractions leaves town again. YAHHHH!

I will be back on track soon. Grandma is still in the hospital so I am still going back and forth to the hospital and I have not been able to get out of bed to exercise in the morning. I did not get to bed last night until Midnight and I woke up at 6 a.m. this morning with a terrible head ache. I have not been drinking enough water and I am sure it is coming from that. Needless to say I am going to have to make the next three weeks really count for weigh loss.

I have decided to change my weigh-in day to Monday. That way it will help me start off the week and keep me on board over the weekend.

Lost 1.8
Still to loose 4.2

We can do this. Lets keep our heads held high and don't let a little screw up bring us down.

We are here for each other and that is what counts. Anytime u need anything feel free to talk.

Lets both keep our heads up. Maintaining is much better than gaining like I did when I weighted in on Tuesday. I have sneaked peaks since and haven't lost a thing. Hopefully when Tuesday comes I will have lost something. I am getting my burn in and then some. I just don't understand.

My normal weigh in day is Fridays and the scale did not move, which is a blessing because I was worried I would have gained this week. So no change but I still have 27 days left in this month to lose 6 pounds. I know I can do it because I have alot of work around the house to do.

My support system stinks when it comes to weight loss and working out. I just keep doing what I am doing and hope for the best. I have not been drinking my water so I am sure when I start doing that I will see some weight loss.

I know what you mean. I am really down and want to give up right now because it just seems like nothing is going my way. I had a horrible weekend because we went to the zoo and a baseball game. I got home and changed everything around but now my sodium intake is taking control over me. I want that down because I know that it is a cause for my 2.4 weight gain. Grrrrr....

I am also struggling because i need support here at home and I am not getting it. It bothers me a lot because I don't always have the time to get on here so when I do need it at home it isn't there.

Oh well. I pushed through my wall today. Hopefully by next week I will see a negative number on the scale.
