Nice Job on the loss!! In general I think this was a tough month since the weather and the clocks turned, and I was not feeling well either and fed the cold with lots of comfort foods. I just maintained and did not record a huge loss for the month of November, but I did get more good cardio in than I have for months. I am so thankful that!
Okay so it is half way through the month and I have not done so hot. This lingering cold has gotten the best of me and I found myself snacking last night. I am hoping to get back on track and lose at least one pound before Friday.
Okay so I did not get the popcorn I got Raisenette instead which is WORSE!!!!!!! UGH! I was pretty good until I got sick on Saturday then all bets where off I snacked when I wanted and did not eat health at all as I was to sick to cook or prep anything. I got on the scale and I did not gain anything. I am still under the weather but I think I will make soup tonight.
In the spirit of thankfulness, I decided to treat my husband to dinner out at a place we havne't been in years. I did ok drinking water and eating a portion close to a proper serving size and leaving the rest of the dinner behind...but since the food took forever to arrive I ended up snacking on the dinner rolls and more of the appetizer than I should have. Guess it will be awhile until we make it back there again!!
If I can get down another 8 or 9 pounds, I will be lighter than I have been in 5 years!! I feel it's doable if I really focus on it...and this would be a great way to start off 2011!!!! I have come close to that mark in the 3 years I've been here on spark journey but never quite made it there--so I know maintaining that loss will be some work.
The year's end is fastly approaching and we have just two months left to reach our year end goal. How close are you? Well I am only 4.5 pounds away from my goal and I want to lose them this month. So Here is my challenge:
1 - Lose at least 5 pounds this month during the Thanksgiving Holiday Season. 2- Increase my water from 8 glasses a day to 10 3-Increase my veggies from 3 to 4 4-Do more muscle toning this month
My starting weight as of November 1st was 182.5 My goal weight as of November 30th is 177. My goal of 177 would only leave me with two pounds to lose in December to reach a 35 pound weight loss for 2010. It is not the original 52 pound weight loss I originally wanted but I am very happy with it.
