This month has not been so good. My husband is getting ready to leave for a deployment so he wants to eat at all these restaurants and do all of these things before he leaves. However, he will be leaving in the next week so I will be able to work out like crazy at night when the kids go to bed and not have to worry about hanging out with the hubby. May should be a great month for me, if I can survive the next week. ha ha! Maybe I should change the deadline to July 4th. What do ya think?
Sandy..how are you doing with your goal? Its' been a month since your last post.
I am finally getting to the starting point. I've been taking a night class since August and have put on 10 lbs. I am finally done with that AND my husband is retired and staying home with my kids now. I can finally get to the gym. I'd be happy to "challenge" with you. Ultimately, I would like to lose 35 to 40 lbs. For the next 5 weeks (until the beginning of June), I'd like to lose 10% (8 lbs). We will see. We going to do another challenge starting in June?
Sadly I have 12.5 more pounds to go to losEt 30% by June 1st but I still have 10 weeks to go. February really messed me up with the bad foot thing. But I restart tae kwon do on April 1st so hopefully that will help me lose and reach my goal. I have over two months to go I know I can reach the 30% of my total weight lose goal by June 1st.
Well I am back on track and doing good today. I went to the foot doctor and he told me I could do away with the moon boot. So I am going to try to get some miles in tonight and make March a suscess! Sadly I gained a pound in the past month with the no excercise thing.
I have been out for a little while because I have been having some foot problems. Hopefully the doctor will give me a clean bill of health on Thursday and I can get back to working out like I was because February 1st. So this week I am going to start off slowly with just the bike.
I really have to get back on track, I have a class reunion coming up this summer and I would like to be at least 30 pounds lighter by then.
I was thinking that most of us have goals that will take about a year to reach. Some less than that so I was thing that maybe we should start a challenge that would carry us over a few months. My original goal was to lose 76 pounds. I do not know if I will get it all done in a year but I am going to give it my all. I have 67 lbs to go and 30% of my weight loss goal would be 20.4 pounds from todays date. That would give me a little over three months to reach my goal and be down to 182.6 lbs. Don't get me wrong I would love to be much smaller by then but I think 30% in three months is very respectible.
