I'm up 4 pounds since the last time I weighed in, so it's a good time to get back to basics and let the weight loss start again :)

I am still 165. down from 256...Wanting to be 10lb lighter by Dec 21, 2012

Hello Fort Lauderdale ... Today is my first whole week here last weigh on was 9/10/2012 at 269.00 today was 265.00 just a bit at a time but I am Finally moving in the right direction emoticon

Good Morning Spark Ft Lauderdale!
Last weigh in 09/02/2012 : 191.4
Today's weigh in : 188.4
I did go down further in between, But took in a lot of calories in the past week that put me at this weight which I am still ahead. Looking to stay within my calorie range and push my work out intensity these next couple of weeks.

Good Morning Fort Lauderdale Team!
Today I weighed 191.2. When I started sparkpeople on August 10th, 2012 I weighed 199lbs and before moving to Florida on July 11, 2012 I weighed 205lbs. My original goal was to be at 180 by Christmas, but now I believe that I can reach 175lb by then.

It depends on what kind of messages you're talking about. If you go to your "My SparkPoints" page, on the right side is a link to "My SparkTeams". When you go there, you can check the boxes to get new topic notifications and such. If you are talking about a particular thread, you are automatically subscribed if you post in the thread and keep the box checked that says "I want an email to be sent to me when anyone replies to this topic" and you'll get an email when someone posts a reply...but once you get that email, you won't get another email telling you there are more posts until you visit the topic. If you are reading a topic and just want to subscribe to know when there is a new post but don't want to make a post yourself, there is a button at the top of the topic thread that says "Subscribe to this Discussion". Same thing applies to this method as to posting-you'll get an email when there is a new post but won't get another until you visit the thread again.

No, the group hasn't been scheduled to meet yet (should be put together soon though). It will be posted here and on the Facebook group when everything's settled. Can't wait to meet everyone in person!

I've stayed steady since my last weigh-in. Started doing the 100 pushups program, but I'm starting with wall pushups first, then I'll move on to modified floor pushups (we used to call them "girl pushups", the kind you do on your knees instead of your toes), then hopefully to regular pushups. Today is day 3 to complete my first week :-)

I gained 4 lbs from not exercising because of foot surgery. But I lost 2. So I weigh 170 looking for 145. I was not getting any posts from sparkteam Ft lauderdale. Did the gathering in Ft lauderdale happen yet. some one please let me know. thanks.

I've been pretty bad since the last time I weighed in...yesterday the scale read 226.0 so I'm up 1.6 pounds. Pretty disappointed but I''ll be getting back to my normal exercise routine this week so I'm hoping to turn that back around.

This thread is for those of you who would like to be publicly accountable for your weight loss. I know for me, posting on a thread makes me more likely to stick to my plan...so if that helps you as well, feel free to post here each week on whichever day is your usual weigh-in day.

I'll start off-last week I was at 224.8, today I'm at 224.4. Only a 0.4 pound loss, but a loss is a loss so I'll take it! emoticon
