Ahhh, I posted in the walk with purpose, but I think I just posted in the first one I saw, not one to corresponded with a week of walking. I will have to try to figure that out next time. I printed out the walking worksheet for intermediate walking and I can already beat week 12 in the intermediate walking workout with out any problems. Should I still start out at week one of it? Or can I just pick and choose which ones to do that will fit into my busy schedule? Some times I have a lot of time that I could just walk for hrs and hrs, or go hiking even, and some times I am just trying to squeeze in several 5-20 min dog walks in between business stuff I need to do. But even when I am busy I try to squeeze in some type of walking and pacing where ever I end up, or walking to the appts and errands.

Great. So now you're ready to start posting on the Walk With Purpose thread about what you see and hear as you walk. Just find the week you are in and put it down. Also the chatting thread is probably the most popular. Sassy has added a couple new ones this week. Pink in honor of breast cancer-anything you notice that's pink on your walk...I think you'll find lots of really nice, fun, inspiring people here from all over the world. Glad to have you along on the journey.

Thanks so much, now I got it. I went a head and made sure I walked at least 100 more steps the last few days just to be sure I could check off the box while waiting for an answer. I do a lot of walking in my house, in my neighborhood, and using my Wii Fit Plus System all the time. I started a few months ago trying to walk to as many of my errands and appts as possible. Plus I have a 6 yr old dog, and we just got a 8-9 month old puppy that I walk a lot too. So unless something comes up like dealing with EDD all day, or something that would make it so that I couldn't do my normal routine I shouldn't have too much trouble with this goal! I am one of 3 co leaders for the Wii Fit Plus team in here and I belong to several other teams too. Nice to meet you. Looking forward to meeting more members of this team and cheering each other on! All my best to you and the whole team always.

Sorry it's so unclear. My intention was just to add one more step to the walk you did the day before...but it asks for a number so I just put in 100. So if your walk is 100 steps make it 101. Or if you'd prefer to put it on your daily 7500 steps then you'd walk 7501 on say, Monday, 7502 on Wednesday and 7503 on Friday. I walk everyday so I don't always get one more step than the day before. Some days am around 10,000 and some days only 6500. My tracker is set to 6000 and to be challenging myself I need to move it up to 7500. I think I'll do that now!! Just challenge yourself, Janette. That's all we are looking for...a little better than the day before. And as you get more walking in you'll notice that your stride changes and your pedometer may need adjusting. Is that as clear as mud???

hi, I have a question about the team challenge at the bottom of the team page about walking more steps than the day before, do you mean to just walk at least one more step each day that you walk on the three days that you walk? Or do you want us to walk a 100 more steps each of the three walking days? or what exactly did that challenge mean? I already have a goal for my self to try to walk at least 7500 steps each day and I usually make it unless, I have something special going on that day that prevents me from doing my walking, like being stuck at the doctors, or busy with unemployment benefits duties, or some thing like that. And my doctor wants me to start working up to 10,000 steps a day, which some times I do get to and sometimes I even go way over, like the day I ran my first 5K in Sept.
