Jackie, we don't expect 5000 steps every day from everybody. Some people walk more than that - but many do less. Make 5000 your goal - when you get there we will shout if from the rooftops. In the meantime those 10 steps here and there will add up. Set yourself a personal goal of xxx steps. If you can't work out how to do it let us know, I keep meaning to start a 'tips' forum. Do what you can today, tomorrow will take you somewhere else.
