I don't even know what week we're in anymore?? I had a good walking day. Walked early morning for coffee. Then took a walk up to the hockey rink-the hill was a bit tougher today in the wind. One of the women who is going to box with me stopped to see if I needed a ride!!!! Lots of people I know honked at me because church was getting out and it's my mom's church so I cook for them and do funerals and stuff. Had a couple more people stop to see if I needed a ride?? Got chewed out for not wearing a coat. I have grocery store upholstery that covers my body well and haven't been cold in years.

Walked after lunch to get the paper and some groceries. It was much further than I thought it would be. I bought the paper. Decided to skip the extra 1 1/2 miles for coffee and just brought the groceries home. Needed to get the corned beef in the oven. Wind really picked up and it was overcast so knew the snow was coming. Wimped out and drove for coffee and out to Wally World for the rest of my groceries and after dinner drove up to the nursing home because it was snowing and I had to take several packages.

Winter is here...at least for a few days. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

2 walks for me too. 25 minutes both for iced coffee and 2nd for iced coffee and cigarettes, plus an additional 6800 steps running errands and up and down the stairs and out to the garage and garden work. Was a windy day again, but no 70 mph gusts. Got a lot done and am feeling great.

Fall is definitely here. Leaves all over the ground from the wind. Will get in extra exercise just doing raking...and certainly not missing the 5 big trees and their leaves at this point in time!!

PS Tried the big stability ball at Physical Therapy yesterday and what a great back stretch. I think I'll have to buy one...but where to keep that monster!!?
