I splurged on my Uggs from Plow and Hearth.
I am barefoot always!! That's why I thought barefeet in the fur lined Uggs would be wonderful. :o(

My shoes are those slip ons from Walmart that sell in summer. They are flat because of my MS. My kids laugh when I wear the treads off. I have 4 more new saved. And a few tennis shoes from the 90s. !!! I used to wear what we called thongs in the 70s or hubby called them shower slippers.

It's 3:24 a.m. here. I finished my steps. I work out while I watch my group home gal who has Down Syndrome and Alz. she can't sleep. I sleep on and off during the day!

I'd be afraid to walk for a coffee. It's dangerous here. :o( I remember when I could grocery shop late at night.

I was born in an Army hospital in Seattle WA(dad served during the Korean war). He retired Army/Army Reserves, Married an Army vet, 3 yr active, 8 yrs reserves. Go Army!! emoticon

I wear the tracker on my bra. In the area I call my secret pocket. LOL! My grandma kept Kleenex there, now I know why. I put keys there too! LOL! TMI
I love my tracker. But it did "glitch" the other day. Stopped during exercising, came back on!!

I got my Uggs (2 pair) at a close-out of a consignment store so only paid $19.95 a pair for boots that cost over $120!! I'm really cheap about shoes.About all clothes really. I buy all my clothes except for underwear at thrift stores. I am barefoot most of the time at home and I have wide, ugly feet so K-Mart tennis shoes and the generic crocs are mostly what I have except for a good pair of penny loafers and a good pair of saddle shoes. Never been without those since about 3rd grade...I mean, I buy a good pair and wear them until they need replacing. I had to wear combat boots and steel-toed boots for work so no dress shoes for me!! Not true. I have a good pair of black leather pumps that I had to have for my Class A Army Uniform!

Are you loving that spark tracker?? And where do you wear it? It's 2 a.m. here and I've had my first 1.75 mile walk of Saturday as I walked for an iced coffee. Frosty out there tonight. Sky is clear and stars are bright!

The best cure for stressing is to count your blessings...and a long walk won't hurt either!

I'm giving them to my almost 13 yr old. :o) I was just depressed they weren't comfy after what I paid!

2 miles today!
But I should add with my spark tracker I get over 6000 steps a day (this week) and today was 6,576!
And after I get my steps in I take my tracker off so I don't lose it! emoticon

You need to pass those Uggs on if you're not using them. I am really learning about getting rid of the stuff that I no longer love or need or use. It was SO hard at the beginning but it's getting easier and nice to have clear, clean space once again!!

Did 5 miles today but in 3 different walks. My coffee walk and walk up to the hockey rink and then the huff&puff up hospital hill to get to the care center. My physical therapy wasn't too tough today and he was able to give my mom some relief...and answered prayer!!

The best cure for stressing is to count your blessings...and a long walk won't hurt either!

I'm stiff and sore this morning. Was very chilly when I did my coffee walk. A mix of rain and snow...but just the misty kind. Glad I dug out my old trusty Uggs on Monday. I just love them. They recommend you just pull them on without socks and the sheepskin lining keeps your feet just toasty. I've had them for 10 years!! Keep thinking I'll spring for a new pair but they work, so what the heck!! Now I'm going to have to dig out the scarves and mittens. Get the coats to the dry cleaners today!!

2 miles.
And I love my SP tracker- it works great. I forgot to take it off last night and slept with it on! LOL! It tracked my steps in the night to use the bathroom!

Had another good week averaging about 3 miles a day...usually in two separate walks. I'm still waiting for the leaves to change colors and fall to the ground. Am going to do a Virtual 5K with Judy on Saturday and maybe just take Sunday off. No, I'll have to walk for my big fat Sunday paper and a large iced coffee!
