It was hard- it was challenging- but I DID IT!!

It was my 3 mile DVD. It took me 4 weeks, and one of those weeks I could not even walk!

I think that's fine Glenn!! I had to take a whole week off from a MS relapse. :o( I just re-started where I left off!
Just do what you can- I think Linda and Jack's Gran would agree- just do whatever you can!
Post here so we can support you! :o)
Say "hello" to your precious wife and I hope you feel better soon.

Don't know if I can continue in this challenge. The walks wear me out for a couple of days (due to spinal stenosis, which makes my legs weak). Then, I'm unable to get my daily housework done, including all of the duties I have taking care of my wife. The only way I saw my walk working today would be to turn it into a slow nature walk. Not sure about that. Glenn

Well done, you are really going for it. The videos are also good for wet weather! There are several on YouTube but make sure you choose one that is set to your capability, everyone

Jackie how are you feeling after your walk?
Any better at all?
I was surprised it has taken me so long to get back into it this time.
But age and disease progression- I should have known!
I am sleeping better so that's a plus!

Jackie, that's great that you managed it. Well done. We are just really pleased to have you all in the team and we will help in any way you want us too. Do what you can is a good way to look at it.

I can see that even repeating a whole 12 week cycle will still have purpose. We can always build on what we have already done.

Hi! I walked this morning.....I'm satisfied with what I did. I walked slow and had less muscle control today, but I walked farther than I had expected, so all in all a good morning. I don't have MS, but have an autoimmune disease that has affested the muscles. The Dr says do what you can when you can. NOWYOUDIDIT..... i know what you're going through.

Eliz, not a day late!

We must all listen to our body. The days are flexible and a guideline only. THERE WILL BE NO SLAPPED WRISTS if a day is missed or a week is repeated. Repeat more than once if that's what your body needs.

While it's important to push ourselves to do the next step there are days when we just go back and do the previous one. Then, the little bit extra kicks in and off we go.

Our daughter in law has MS. I understand. Take each day as it comes.

Started week 2 a day late. My body physically just could not do it.

I was reading about Fibromyalgia on SP and was surprised to see how similar they sound. Although they say MS is less common. I had a horrible painful weekend after my first week of walking, so Monday I just could not do it.

Tonight I felt re-newed. And it went well. 2 miles lower your blood sugar walk with Leslie Sansone. I won't say it was easy- but I feel good, although inflammation (water retention) seems to be my unwanted reward.

It will get better- I know it will! emoticon

Well done, Jackie, speed is not important - just keep doing the times, and you will get there. I was amazed at how quickly I felt better about my walking. Just one step - so glad you have started.

Good morning!!!
Happy Sunday!

This morning I walked with my husband. We walked for about 25 minutes, but we both need to stop and sit a few times. I'm just happy we got out, I'm not stiving for speed at this point.

Maybe at week 12 I'll be able to start week 1 of 5min warm up, 5 min walk and 5 min cool down emoticon

Check in here after you have done your walk, let us know how you are getting on. Repeat Week 1 if you need to. Make sure you progress at your own rate.
