You are back before it is all regained. You have NOT failed because you are BACK and you have picked yourself up before you slid all the way back to the beginning or even past the starting point and gained MORE than you lost. Look at the great success of doing so well for so long. NOW, let the past go and dust yourself off and make a new plan and get back on track. Do you have any idea why after doing so well, you started to slip? I had lost a little more than 30 pounds and regained a lot more than HALF of what I lost and kept off for several years - I know exactly what the trigger was and I have forgiven myself for slipping and have been climbing back out of the pit I was in. I lost 160+ pounds and regained about 150 of them - after the death of my son and around the time my father fell, became and invalid and died.
Start with the knowledge you gained when you lost before but recognize that often new time, new situations, mean you need to find new tricks, tips, and ideas to make it work - at least I did. Much of the old stuff worked but not initially, I needed to find a new way to get started and the old habits started to come back naturally over time.
