I'm new to this team too and to the gym (about 2 weeks). I go Mon-Fri twice a day for 2+ hours cardio. There are a lot of classes I want to try too but I'm totally uncoordinated and I don't have the stamina. Maybe I'll try yoga. Saturday and Sunday I do once a day for an hour cuz they're open fewer hours than during the week. Sunday they're only open for 3 hours!!!!! I mean, really?? Mon, Wed, and Fri I do weight machines. I try to bump up my speed in cardio gradually to challenge myself. I increase the reps for weight machines to 12 and then increase the weight I lift. So far I'm loving it! Gosh that sounds like I'm bragging. I'm not trying to, I'm just posting what I do!

Hi everybody. I am new to the team. Though I am managing to do atleast 30 minutes of cardio a day, I find I break it up into too many intervals so this challenge is perfect. Does anyone have a gazelle (I affectionately call it the weasel). My gazelle squeaks like crazy and I am wondering what kind of lubricant to "feed" it. Thanks, and good luck everybody. Bluebirdsfly

Hey all! Did Body Pump (cardio weights) for 60 minutes, then 1/2 hour of biggest loser exercise, then I raked the lawn for an hour. Finally got off my plateau and am losing weight again, yay!!! Good luck to all.

I love the Y! I like the friendships I've built there and surprisingly I like the group exercise classes. Since it is so convenient for you Missy-Pie it should make it easy to reach your goal. I have to reset my goal a little since I re-injured my knee this morning in Body Combat (love that class!!). I will be back to spinning and water aerobics...they just added water aerobics at our Y. Hi,
I am not new to this team but have been in-active online for a long time. I can either fit in exercise or spending tiem online to log it :-). One of my goals right now is tolog on everyday and track my food and exercise, so I hope to contribute more.
Today I did the boot camp class at the Y; holy cow 60 very long miutes of kicking my butt!! I joined the Y about 2 weeks ago and feel it is the best thing I could have done; it is directly enroute between work and home and so it easier to squeeze in a workout. Even Monday when I overslept I made it in to the treadmill for a quick run and still made to work on time.
Hope to be on here more and really get to know soem of you!

im fairly new here.
i currently weigh 79.6 kgs and im hoping to get to 74kgs (first goal)
i went for a walk at 6am this morning for 40 mins i did pilates for 24 mins and i also did some aerobic exercise for 25 mins

I love to exercise! I have always been a runner and this past year I just started mixing it up. I belong to the Y which is one of the best things I could've done. You have the option of doing different classes, or swimming, or using the machines and working out solo. The other great thing about it is if you don't go, people ask about you and wonder where you were. It's great motivation knowing that people are looking for you and missing you if you aren't there. I like to push myself to do better with each exercise I do.....right now I'm running 8 1/2 minute miles! I'm going to do a 1/2 marathon and (maybe lol) a full marathon. Just one of the goals I'm setting for myself :)

Trying to exercise every day is a good goal for me I think. I want to go to the gym at least 6 times, and then the other day clean the house, walk the kids to the park... just do something to be more active.

Good Morning to all my EE Buddies,
Guess what I just did! I joined the 28-Day Bootcamp Challenge. Now that's something that I can do at home..... like whenever I feel like digging into some food for whatever reason. Those 5 days when I was snowbound the only exercising I did was shoveling snow and eating. Then I remembered that I gave my ex barbells 20 years ago for Father's Day and he never used them. When he left ... barbells stayed. I've been curious about Bootcamp and now I am in it.
And that's on top of my daughter's and my trip over to Cardinal Fitness everyday for our workout there ... usually 30-60 minutes on the treadmill.
I am a very easy going gal that loves people and wants to know as many as I can. I want to make new friends so I can enjoy more of life. When people get to 55 or 60 there are some that think life should be over but guess what it is just beginning. Maybe 50 years ago it was over but not now people are living longer and working in their 70's. I would have been if I didn't have leukemia and it does not stop me but I have good days and bad, so being home if I need rest, I rest, at work I couldn't do
