Hi all, I did really well with the eat anything you want part of ICMYT program...except I didn't eat consciously, when I was hungry OOR stop when I was full. I made myself self so uncomfortable I was in pain and didn't go to work because I still felt miserable this morning. I watched the shows I missed and feel at ease again. I'm not at my ideal weight but I'm ready to start over. Take care, Barbara

want a really gross visual for foods you are craving? I call it "toilet food". Ever cleaned the bottom of the toilet with all the hairs and dried pee- for those of you with boys : ) ok, imagine your craving food smeared across the bottom of the toilet.. if you aren't wretching by that, you could try out for Survivor!

Just an interesting FYI - I was reading an online health newsletter from our Public Employees Benefit Board. For some reason I read the names of the board members and one of them was Paul McKenna! I was in my office and really got excited, like the time I saw a Cheetah (for real - there ended up being a reasonable explanation)in a parking lot, saw my "twin" (I'm not a twin) driving a car like mine going the opposite direction. Anyway, thought I'd pass that along. Take care, Barbara

Just want to throw in that chewing 20x is a starting point. I chew about 50+x. I heard a nutritionist once say, "Chew your juice and drink your food." It really sank in. If you aren't doing that, she said, your probably eating too many smooth foods! Whole grains, meats, and vegetables really need to be chomped up to liquid! Once you get used to it, it's hard to go fast, except with junk food, and you'll marvel at how it seems other people wolf their food down! Plus, you taste so much more!

Eat when you're hungry and enjoy every bite!

Alicia, you did such a great job of recapping the shows! I'm sure people will get use out of just your posts here, as they are very thorough.

I just signed up with the ICMYT team here, as some of these techniques are certainly useful.

Thanks for posting all of this.

She believed she could do it, so she did.

Hello everyone, well last night was the last show of Paul Mckenna, " ICMYT". I would have to say it was very interesting, but a difficult task to do, which will take me a long time to do... Last night's episode was all about feeling better about yourself, thinking positive things about your self, rather than putting yourself down all the time...He gave a few techniques that we should all try...

Most important one, is looking at yourself in the mirror, closing your eyes, and think of yourself as a famous female , example Tyra Banks, think about how she feels in her body, how she feels she looks, which would be confident, pretty, etc... Once you get that good feeling open your eyes look at yourself in the mirror and you should see confidence, and a pretty person in the mirror...

Second technique, again close your eyes, think of a love one, who respects you, and love you unconditionally, then put yourself in there shoes, and look at yourself through them, and see what they see, which is a attractive person, kind, etc, once you believe what you see, open your eyes look at the mirror, and you should feel happy, and ready to face life...

Paul says, when we talk negative towards ourselves, that we should look at the mirror while doing so, then make-up a funny voice/accent and say the same negative things to yourself, and see how ridiculous it sounds, and how you sound saying those things to yourself, and keep saying them till you laugh.

Overall, Paul says, that we need to think more about ourselves, and in doing so we need to do this exercise to achieve that goal... I personally find this the most difficult task, because I don't like looking at myself for too long in the mirror, I'm sure I will try this technique, I'm just not sure, when I'll be ready for that....

It has been great corresponding with all of you, I hope you have enjoyed this message board, and hopefully we'll all keep in touch.. Keep up the good work, Take care all.

PS Thanks Glory and Alicia for your suggestions. I'm getting closer to finding that happy place to focus on, with so many to draw on I don't know what the hold up is. It seems so weird to me since I think I'm ordinarily quite appreciative and upbeat. I grew up with a lot of guilt associated with religion. I think it affected me almost beyond my comprehension. Thanks for thinking of me! Bye again for now, Barbara

Hi All, there was a thought expressed about skepticism and I understand it despite the positive effect the ICMYT program has. On one hand it sounds too easy, like so many unrealistic breakthroughs/advertisements I'm bombarded with I wish were true. Will this be another with a temporary fix that I enthusiastically embrace...for a while at least? (In reality this does sound like a real deal sensible approach.) Maybe, maybe not, either way it's a tool to add to my arsenal that seemingly could have no ill effect.

My biggest enemy will still always be me.

PS I'm really grateful for this discussion and Alicia's (an angel) recap of the techniques have beyond my expectations of support. This is one of my favorite discussions to visit. (I have been standing at my computer for several weeks, listen to music and walk/dance throughout the day while I'm at work which amuses/inspires many of my friends at work.)

Rock on, Barbara

Has anyone else noticed themselves taking a peek at others in restaurants noting eating styles?? WOW, what an eye opener for me! This Western style of eating as opposed to European style makes perfect sense to me as to why we have an obesity problem in North America! I catch myself time and time again mindlessly eating but the more I THINK about what I'm eating the less hungry I am! It's working for me!

You're just jealous the voices only talk to me! ;)

Hello to all my emoticon , well tonight's show was great.. I really enjoyed it, as well thought about how I look at myself, exercising, and the way I think. No matter what we do whether we use Paul Mckenna's technique's, or read a lifestyle change book, or listen to Oprah and what her Doctor's have to say, it all comes down to us, ourselves, the way we think.. Thinking positive, acting positive, being and feeling confident, motivating ourselves, is the most important technique/role we must do in order to achieve our goals.. Paul Mckenna said most people whom are over weight, whenever they think of exercising, they place a negative thought to it, therefore we don't want to work out.. We may have gym equipment at our homes, but we just don't do it...However, the moment you change the way you think, act, and feel in a more positive uplifting way, you automatically want to do things like exercising, etc to feel that joy/happiness.

Tonight's episode was about how to speed up your metabolism. We must program our mind and body in order to speed up our metabolism Paul says; he also gives us a technique to use, which is the same like last week.. First you must think of a time when you felt happy, felt excitement, pleasure, and then squeeze your thumb and third finger with your right hand tightly.. While doing this your eyes must be close, continue to think of that time when you felt pleasure/happiness, etc, and then think of when you were driven/motivated to get in shape, continue to squeeze your finger place all those happy thoughts together and motivation.. Then open your eyes. Paul says, by doing this technique we should feel the urge to want to get up and move, whether it's walking in the park, around your block, parking farther away from the grocery and walking...He asked that this week we try to find 3 places to walk..For example: taking an extra lap around the grocery isle, going to your favorite park and walking, or getting off the 2-3 stops before your house and walking home... He also suggest that if you don't have one to get a perdomiter to track how many steps you take in a day..

We need to remember that exercising does so much for us, it releases toxins from our body, it's a great stress reliever, it release endorphins which makes us feel good and happy throughout the day...

Next week is the last week of the program which he will be talking about how to increase our confidence and feel better about ourselves...I can honestly say tonight, I felt more motivated than ever to want to achieve a goal for myself.. And losing this weight would make me happy, it will prove that I can do anything once I put my mind to it, and at the end I'll be healthier... It's all about the MIND... we all need to think positive, and tell ourselves WE CAN DO THIS, WE WILL DO THIS, it may take awhile, but once we hit our goal, we'll look back and say, it was hard, but it was worth it...I hope everyone here tries to walk a little more this week, even if it's down your street and back up. You'll feel good just knowing moved a LITTLE MORE... Take care everyone have a great week, and I'm glad you all are enjoying the recaps I've provided for all of you.. emoticon

Thanks for the info Alicia. It was funny but today I never had a craving for sweets which I almost always do. Every time I glanced at anything sweet I thought of the visual picture that Mckenna walked us through and that seemed to hold me off for now! LOL!!

I've done the pressure point the first couple after the episode...When I did do the pressure points, it did take my mind off the food I was craving, but at the same time, I haven't tired it as a stress reliever, which I should, cause I'm always stressing...So I can't knock the tapping of the pressure points. It's really hard to say..I guess because I am not use to the 'tapping', it's not the first thing I think about when I'm stressed, or upset. I plan on changing that, because from what the viewers say on his show is that the tapping works, so I have to try to remember to turn to the pressure points when stress.

Snooks04, I tired the squeezing my left fingers together when I was craving a food, and at that moment it did work for me...You need to remember, while squeezing your left fingers together you must think of your favorite food that you crave eating it with your worst food ever, and adding hair on it, from a salon shop... Once you get the visual image in your head, you honestly don't feel like eating that particular food at that moment, or maybe for a few days.

Thank you for taking the time to type that all out; I appreciate it.

Even though I've heard similar at Weight Watchers, reading what you put down, invisioning it, and thinking it through has motivated me. I hadn't thought much about using a fork to eat my sandwiches. Will do from now on.

I just went to his website and did the cravings exercise and the emotional eating exercise. I will be interested to see if they work. I haven't had a craving for sweets yet today but I will be curious as to what happens when I do. Are you supposed to immediately squeeze your left fingers together when the craving starts? Has anyone done this yet and did it work for you?

I joined emotional eaters and the Paul McKenna group last week when I came back to sparks after my pregnancy. I have got to say that "I can make you thin" is really working for me... especially the stopping cravings part. I lost 3 pounds in 4 days so far without really trying.. (I may have lost more but did not track until 4 days ago) so I am pretty convinced that Paul McKenna knows what he is talking about ... and I plan on continuing on with the "I can make you thin" group. on another thread in this group I mentioned part of what I have learned from watching his show and I guess I grossed people out. I was only stating something that worked for me. I am new to this group and that was my first post. I am sorry if I grossed anyone out. I just repeated what I saw on Paul McKenna's show about repulsing yourself from the food in order to beat the craving... I.E. earthworms on your chocolate cake or whatever. I am glad that there is a group for Paul McKenna on sparks... It seems like a lot of people over there are having success with his technique... besides just me I guess.

Hi everyone, I am glad everyone is enjoying the show as well, appreciative that I have been able to recap his episode's... I truly believe what he says, it's really all about the mind, and imagination..Every time I think about fries, whether it's McDonald fries, or fries from the grocery I honestly, get this awful taste in my mouth of beats, and hair, and it's gross... I mean I can actually feel as though i've swallowed hair.. I know it's all in the mind, but it makes me not to want to go and buy and eat the fries.

Again, I'm glad you all like the recaps. I can't wait for the next episode..He's gonna talk about how to speed up our metabolism.

I TiVo'd the Craving show and plan to watch tomorrow. Between episode 1 & 2 I did lose 2 lbs using his strategies. I ate when & what I wanted, but not to excess. I was mindful of my eating also.

I however did not use the strategies from episode 2 very well as I binged last night... I need to go back and watch that one with more focus and then watch episode 3.

I have been able to put my utensils down 95% of the time though...

P.S.

Another thought .. in losing weight it has been suggested that in Short, Med. and Long Term goals some type of trip be planned to help motivate the continued weight loss as well as yrly. thereafter .. vs. doing it for a wedding, reunion, etc. which are only one time events, then over . . a vacation can be continual ..

Dearest Barbara .. consider taking a vacation .. it doesn't even have to be a long one though that would be lovely, but even a few overnights .. this may be just the respite you need .. and you will want to store back up some happy memories to get you through such a tough time ..

We haven't had a family vacation for several yrs. and last month we took our family to Disney .. We had the 'best'time and it brings up cherished happy memories for me!

Hi Barbara, you say your finding a hard time to find that happy place, or moment... How about your wedding day??? How did you feel at that moment, that week prior to your wedding, the moment that you walked down the isle towards your future husband?? Or how about your kids (if you have any), how did you feel when you first saw your baby for the first time, or when you first bought him/her home, or when he/she looked at you and said "mama"...I would think those would be times of happiness, and fulliness, as well as joy beyond words can express....I hope this helps, but I do know how you feel when it comes to feel lonely, I feel that almost everyday.. Take care.. You will get through this.

I'm having a difficult time today. I feel like I'm losing ground emotionally but this will most likely pass (as happens periodically). I keep looking for the "answer" to happiness, even tho I have so many things to be grateful for. Why am I still wanting approval that seems unattainable? I bring this up because I'm having a problem thinking about a happy time in my life...hitting a homerun, dancing, cooking/eating beautiful food, nature walks, sidesplitting laughter, talkathons with my sibs...our Mom died in July and we've never been the same since trying to care for her as a group effort. I have a good life but still there's an emptiness that pops up every once in awhile despite doing most of what experts, literature, friends would recommend. O well it seems it is what it is and I'm going to just feel what I'm feeling which is loneliness until it passes. I've been looking at the ICMYT series and it hasn't affected me much and I was counting on being better motivated. Thanks for listening.

Best of luck to all, Barbara.

PS Hello Susan and welcome. (I'm married to a former Marine.) I recently finished physical therapy for a back problem I think you'll find much support here.

Hi to everyone,
I want to introduce myself to you. My name is Susan. I live in NW WA. I am married to a wonderful retired Marine and we have 1 spoiled cat by the name of Shilo. I have been thin my whole life until I turned 55. I am now 64 for another month and I need to lose 45 pounds. I was in a car accident in 1969, thrown 40feet from the car. The most injury was to my face and my tailbone. Today I am suffering from degenerative bone disease and my lower spine is bone on bone. I am now going to a pain clinic and what they are giving me seems to be helping.Next will be an epidural. That I will have when we return from vacation. What I am trying to say is I have been unable to exercise for the past 9 months due to the severe pain. No sitting,no standing. I go the pool 3 days a week and walk in the water. That is it. I am losing a pound or so a month, that is great, I just need to have the support of others who are fighting the weight issues. I saw Paul last night and I think that emotional issues are right where I am. I can get very depressed not being able to have a normal life. It is getting better and it will continue to. Thanks for letting me vent. Susan

wow thanks for informing us of these techniques. I'm not very sure they will help - I tried the excercises and I actually felt good and laughed a lot. I never thought to roll my eyes as an excercise.
It all was a lot of fun.

Thanks again.

So tonight was the third week, of "I can make you thin", and his topic was "How to Knock OUT Cravings"
He use two techniques, one to stop the cravings, and the second to feel good about yourself.

First Technique:
Think of a food that you really find disgusting, now think of hair from the barber shop in that food. Close your eyes picture that dish, take your hand pretend you have a fork in it, and pick up the food put it in your mouth, and start to chew. Now think of that favorite food that you crave, and mix it in with your disgusting food and hair, and think about the taste, and texture, and smell. During this time you want to take your middle finger and thumb with your LEFT hand and squeeze tightly. The moment you can eat no more, or feel sick by this techniques STOP. Paul Mckenna says, that right after doing the technique you should feel a sense of no cravings of that particular food; whether it may be fast food, chocolate, cake, etc.

Second Technique:
This technique is for feeling good about yourself.. Close your eyes and think of a place, or a time when you felt great, think about the colors, and music, the feeling of feeling on top of the world. Now during this moment take your middle finger and thumb with your RIGHT hand and squeeze them together.

Paul says, whenever you stop the craving, to then go to place or time that made you feel real good He also goes on saying, in order to stop cravings, we need to think differently, and use our imagination but in a negative way to stop our craving. For example he used Chocolate cake, with icing (which looked real good by the way), but he said if you imagine that cake with worms crawling on it, the moment you look at any cake, you will see these worms, and it will make you from craving that food...Now he's not saying we can't eat the foods we crave, but we shouldn't feel the crave, more so thinking and acting consciously about how much we eat..

Well I hope this helps, I tried it during the segment, and I must say, I still have the feeling in my stomach, and I feel as though I have a hair ball stuck in my throat. I had used Beats, hair, mixed with McDonald's french fries. At this moment, I don't even want to look at french fries..

Well I've been trying the tapping techniques, and so far it has been working, it really makes me think of other things, and not concentrate so much on a food I"m craving, or stressing on work, etc. I'm still eating slowly, but i still haven't blind folded myself yet, but overall I am finding myself more consciousness of what I eat, how much I eat, and geting in my water, and exercising. Since last week I've lost 8lbs, and I'm excited, but mostly shocked..

Your right Bossygirl, thank you for reminding about the continuous tapping through 5-11. I'm glad you watched it.. I tried the tapping during the show as well, but then I did it again later in the evening when I was craving a cookie, and I had to do the tapping about three time continous until I didn't crave it anymore...

Socani, once you see the show you will be so glad you watched it. I'm gonna start doing these steps as often as I possibly can, until my craving stops. Take care.

Alicia, Thanks for all the details! My tivo is set for one of the repeat shows so I haven't seen the new episode yet. After a major loss of control on Easter, I am ready to dive into some new ideas to help stop mindless eating.

Hi Aliciam6,
I also watched the show and it was awesome! You did wonderful in telling everyone the technique. The only thing I noticed is that you need to keep tapping the back of your hand while going through steps 5-11. I think this will definitely help me. I did it with the show last night and I could tell it would get your mind off anything you were wanting. Thank you so much for telling me about the show being on. I plan to watch it every week as I can use all the help I get. You go girl!! emoticon

Hello everyone, well I watched tonight's episode and it was really good. The things he taught, I will try my best to explain, so I apolozie now for any confusion.

He talked about emotional hunger/eaters. He basically said, that when we have these emotional hunger, that we're not really hungry, it's whatever we're feeling at that moment whether its stress, anger, sad, bored, etc... He said that we need to stop the minute we feel like eating and ask ourselves why do (I) want to eat? Am (I) really hungry? Do (I) really need that piece or chocolate/cake/pie? Then he said once we know that emotion, learn to deal with it another way than food.

Now the next segment from the show he gave a "Tapping Technique" that Pschologist use, as a Acupucture treatment. It is stated that re-programs the brain, and will re-program our way of over eating. During this tapping technique he wants us to think of something whether it's stres, boredom, our favorite food, anger, sadness; and to rate it between 1-10, 10 being the worst. Now while doing this tapping techinque he says, we must continue to focus on that particular thing that makes us feel emtionally hungry, and within time we should not feel the erge to eat our problems.

TAPPING TECHNIQUES (take two fingers and your going to tap various parts of your body)

1.under your eye
2.collarbone
3.side of your hand(pinky side)
4.top of hand
5.close eyes
6.open eyes
7.look to the right, then the left(do not move your head, just your eyes at this point)
8.roll your eyes(only) 360 in both directions
9.hum a tune(any tune)
10.count out loud to 5
11.hum again
12.under your eye

Paul Mackenna, suggest that we must do this at least 10 times a day, within weeks, we should fine ourselves doing a minimum of maybe 5 or less. It all depends on the individual.

Next week he is planning to talk about "How to knock out cravings". I will keep you all posted each week, as well I will let you all know how this technique works out. I hope you all have a great week. emoticon

Checking in to say hello: I'm actually feeling successful since watching the taped broadcast (ICMYT)on Monday. I've had this feeling before when starting something new. The eat what you want is new and very appealing to me. So far I've managed well with slowing down my eating and ENJOYING the food. For a "calm" person it's amazing how anxious I am/was when it comes to food (maybe even EEEK... obsessive)and didn't know it. I've been doing the starve/binge/manic exercise routine to get to a healthy weight range. Self discovery is a wonderful gift. I'm grateful for the upbeat and inspiring people whom I have the opportunity and privilege of visiting with. I wish you much health and happiness.

Sincerely, Another Spark Friend, Barbara

When I first the the commercials for this, I thought "yeah right you can make me thin", but my hubby wanted to watch it (he's overweight too). So we watched it together. I found a lot of what he was saying I already knew, but just never actually practiced. My hubby is better at it so far, I still shovel it in, unless he reminds me. We are looking forward the rest of the series too.

Hi Everyone, I am so glad more of you have seen the episode, for those who don't get TLC, I will for sure keep everyone updated..A couple of you were saying it was hard to keep the knife and fork down, that it takes practice. For sure, it's hard to do something we're not use too...But practice always makes perfect...Someone asks about restaurants; closing the eyes will look odd to people around you, but as long as you put your knife and fork down, and engage in conversations around you, it may help and at the same time make you feel full....It's worth a try....

I haven't seen the show but please keep recapping for us. I agree with what he says about tasting and enjoying your food. This last week was the first week in a long time that I have eaten mindfully while actually physically hungry and I was definitely more aware of how good my food tasted. Which also helps explain why when I binge I will eat foods that I don't even like.

I tried the putting down the utensils when I was eating after each mouthful and that lasted about half way thru the meal and then I just reverted back to the shovel it in method. I think it will take practice, I did try and that is all that counts. When i eat lunch tomorrow I will try again and see if I can get further. My dinner did taste pretty good tonite. I had baked potato w/spray butter on it and stuffed rainbow trout. Ate the whole of it and now I am chewing gum to keep from going back to the kitchen for more. I am afraid that will come about 7:30 tonite when I get bored just before I go to bed. I have already chosen what I will snack on, it will be 2 rice cakes, chewy but not much flavor.

I recorded the show and just watched it today. I liked many of the ideas such as eating consciously without TV/magazine distractions and slowing down. I'm going to encourage my whole family to eat slower at dinner tonight. I am not yet convinced he isn't crazy though...when he was telling us to throw out anything in the refrigerator that we were not thrilled to eat, I immediately thought of all the veggies that I have stocked up on. Now, maybe he'll teach us to eat LESS to lose weight but what about eating healthy? I cannot believe that eating pizza every night (even if I stopped when I am full) and omitting vegetables and fruits is a healthy way to eat for the short or long term. I am looking forward to seeing if he covers this in the remaining episodes.

Another thought how do you do the eye closing thing at a restaurant, easter meal etc. I have a niece and nephew who hum while they eat which is adorable but going into a trance at a luncheon might be a bit much...even for me. Any suggestions?

This is a wonderful discussion. Thanks for recapping the broadcast. I taped it while I was spending time with my family, but have been quite curious. Some tips I was familiar with but your note has already helped me today. I'm so used to inhaling my food it's VERY interesting to actually TASTE it. This might sound a little strange...almost meditative/surreal when I close my eyes. The food feels larger in my mouth instead of literally and embarrassingly choking it down as fast as I can at most meals. So far I'm having a hard time trying to figure out what my stomach is doing...wait a minute it just released and said enough. Wow, I feel a little (okay maybe more than a little) silly but what the hey. I've done and said things much worse than this. I hope to keep in touch with this discussion. Thanks SP friends!

Hi Penny, since last night watching the show. When he talked about how most people who are over weight think about food all the time, and then when we eat it, we eat so fast, especially while watching tv. But he said if you sit down on the kitchen table, and only focus on your food, you will eat slower. And I for the longest while, have been always eating food infront of the tv, in my bedroom, so once I finsih eat, I would lay down which is not good. So today I have started to eat on my kitchen table, and I feel very full, and I'm trying to keep myself out of my room until bedtime. It's hard, but at the same time, it's almost like a wake up call...

I hope to talk with you again soon Penny, take care, and let me know how the 4 golden rules works for you. emoticon

Hi Alicia,

Thanks for this. It does make so much sense. I know that when I am by myself and eat without the TV on,I do eat slower.

Good luck on you weight loss. I hope to chat with you some more.

I am so glad so many of you have heard and or seen the show....Yeah, I can't wait until next week, I have my little note pad jointing down all the important information he gives us... I haven't tried the blindfold as yet, so far I've been closing my eyes, but this week for sure, I'll blindfold myself at least once....

If you haven't tired a pita pizza, it's on the sparkrecipe, and it's real good, I recommend it, especially if you don't care to be in the kitchen preparing for too long, pita pizza is a easy, fast, and healthy meal...Take care everyone.

Goal1: Stay on Track!!!!
Goal 2:Consistently exercise, and stay active. At least three times per week.

It's a long road but I've got my walking shoes on. Is anyone with me?

Thanks for posting, ALICIAM6! While the suggestions could be new to some, it is a nice reminder to all!

Nothin' new under the sun! :)

Those are the same guidelines I remember from WW back in the 80's. Just about every behaviour mod program that deals with food talks about every single one of those things.

Whoever you find that motivates you, the motivation is the thing!

"...it matters to this one..."

What good I do today is a gift to myself, and it's never too late to do good.

Hello everyone, last night on the TLC channel at 8pm this program came on called " I Can Make You Thin" for the next few weeks, Paul Mckenna will be talking about how to lose weight, and different steps to take. At first I didn't really believe him, but being overweight, I'll watch anything to do with losing weight. But this morning I tried his four steps, and I can honestly say it works. I know it's only been a day, but I believe if you want something bad enough, it becomes mind over matter. The 4 Golden Rules are:
1. When you're hungry eat!
2. Eat What you want!
3. Eat Consciously!
-Take your time, slow down, and taste the food
-Eat slowly, enjoy your food, and chew about 20x
-Focus on your food-so no distractions, no tv,
no radio,
4. When you're full, STOP!
-Rely on your stomach not what's on your plate
-close your eyes each time you put food in your
mouth, and think about your stomach, and the
minute you feel full stop.

Paul McKenna says, that when we eat we should place the knife and fork down, and chew our food, or if it's a sandwich or something, to put the food down and chew what's in our mouth, think about the different taste buds, and before you know it, you'll probably be full.

I tried it this morning, I made hard boiled eggs, 2 slices of weight watchers whole grain bread with butter, and half a tomato. Now usually I would have put everything on the bread and eat away quickly, but this time I used a knife and fork, and each time i took a bite I placed the knife and fork down, put my hands on my lap, closed my eyes, and thought about the food, and my stomach. Once I felt full I stopped, and I had left overs. Half a slice of bread, half an egg and tomato, I simply put it in the microwave, and I'll mostly likely eat it later, but I'm full, and for once I didn't think, I need to eat it all, I just want to be satisfied.

I hope some of you try this method, however, it is mind over matter I believe.... I hope everyone has a great day.
