It was supposed to be a remake, but the stories were very different. I like the original a lot better! (Isn't the original almost always better?)

Was The Preacher's Wife with Whitney Houston, Denzel Washington, and Courtenay Vance a remake of The Bishop's Wife? I'm thinking it might have been, but I'm not 100% sure...

I love The Bishop's Wife (1946) with Cary Grant, David Niven, and Loretta Young. It's such a great story of how God gives us what we really need, not what we want or think we need. If you've never seen it, check it out sometime!

ok... let's see... I'll have to preface this by saying that I have not watched any movies in AGES... I'm going to have to go with the movie that I have watched a bazillion times, and yet still cry every time... Top Gun! LOL

NO EXCUSES!!!

Since we had a "heavy" question yesterday, I'll go a bit lighter today. ;)

What's your all-time favorite movie?

Mine is the original Star Wars trilogy. I do tend to think of them as one movie, since it's all the same story. If I had to pick just one of the three, I'd say The Return of the Jedi. I love the action/adventure, the romance, the good vs. evil, the redemption that takes place in the end. Plus it's just happy and nostalgic.

So what's your favorite? Want to share why?
